Q: Would you say Atco overall is a cyclical business (which one might think when viewing their work camp housing part of the company), or might one view it as a utility which one could buy and hold forever given its distribution business? Would you consider it a buy and if so why?

Q: I currently have 1/3 of my TFSA in a cash position and am underweight in Industrial, Technology, and Consumer Cyclical. What ETFs do you favour that would help me to balance out my portfolio?

- Global X Active Ultra-Short Term Investment Grade Bond ETF (HFR)
- Purpose High Interest Savings Fund (PSA)
- CI High Interest Savings ETF (CSAV)
Q: I am looking to hold some cash for 6-12 months. My broker - RBC Direct Investing - does not allow me to purchase PSA or CSAV. Would you consider HFR to be reasonably safe, or do you have another suggestion? I am somewhat reluctant to change brokers, but maybe I should.
Q: I would like to increase my exposure to consumer staples. At this time would you prefer an investment in PBH or ATD.b, or perhaps there is another company you would prefer.
Q: I notice that Detour Gold has been slowly increasing. What is your view on this? Thankyou.

Q: In one of the articles you suggested (can't remember which one), they were discussing correlations between stocks, sectors and assets. I find it an interesting way of further analyzing a portfolio. Could 5i someday provide correlation matrices for its different portfolios? Would be interesting to have a peak at it. Thank you very much

Q: Any thoughts on the IPO for Kura Sushi? (The IPO is scheduled for August 1st and the call sign is supposed to be KRUS:US which I think is already taken). I recently saw the concept in London England. There seemed to be some interest to eat there on the part of the younger generation however other restaurants were more busy. Not sure “food on the conveyor belt” concept is going to catch on with me and others.

Q: Has your view of PD changed since last year at this time on this company? You adverted to their debt level back then.
TD seems to hold a high opinion, just like last year.

- iShares S&P/TSX Capped Utilities Index ETF (XUT)
Q: For safety of income and income, what would be your preference between XUT and a bond ETF? Thanks, Bill
Q: Good morning,
How would the drop in US interest rates effect this Canadian ETF and would this ETF be a good add to my existing XBB VAB for long term stability in an RRSP. I am retired and mostly follow the Conservative ETF portfolio from ETF and Mutual Fund 5i
Thanks
Carl

Q: Your opinion of FEC please.
Q: Some years ago you made reference to SFL which drew my attention to the stock and its yield. I still hold a small position, modestly underwater (no pun intended). Is it time to move on?
