Q: I have often thought it would be useful to look at charts showing how the PE ratio (and other financial ratios, for that matter) of a company has changed over a lengthy period of time, say 10 years or more. Could 5i provide such charts? Are they easily available anywhere else?

Q: I hope it was just me but I noticed that my minimum RRIF contribution doubled after opening a US$ side at TD WebBroker this year. It took a week for them to investigate with multiple phone calls & pushback before I got it reversed.

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! JNJ has been in the news quite a bit lately with the newest issue being a law suit for billions of dollars launched by the state of Oklahoma for JNJ’s role in the opioid crisis.
I hold a tidy number of stocks in this company , which I have held for years and I am up quite a bit on the stock. My objective is a long term hold....so my question....how serious is this law suit to the overall value of the company? Should the share value fall, would this be an opportunity to buy more? Or....should I take the money and run ? Looking for some crystal ball insight....Cheers, Tamara

I am also still holding Cineplex (CGX) do you see any prospects for this company's shares increasing in the near future or should I sell?

Q: Sorry for bothering you about an American company but I stumped on this one . I have wanted to buy Macdonalds but when I check their revenue it has been slipping steady over the last five years (yahoo finance and bmo charts showing this) at the same time their net earnings have been climbing. Can't pull the trigger on a stock that has declining earnings but some analysts say their same store sales are increasing which does't equal overall revenue declining unless they are closing some stores. What am I missing? If you don't feel it is an appropriate question no problem.

Q: I'm looking for a low carbon ETF to hold in my RRSP along side CRBN to increase the Canadian weighting. Is there a Canadain ETF out there that omits the energy sector at a reasonable MER? (And maybe there just isn't one because of how big energy is in the index.)

Thanks
