Q: Good Morning ,
What are your thoughts on the cut this morning , looks like a 16.6% reduction in the distribution but the stock price is down 19%. Would you sell into this weakness or wait for a bounce? Also what would be a good replacement if sold.
thanks
Q: Good morning fellas:
With 5g coming , would American tower be a name to buy for my tfsa. There’s a moat situation with the towers all over the United States and overseas . Would u recommend at the current price . Seems to me this would a name u could hold for many years and sleep at night .

Q: I hold the above stocks in my TFSA. Since they pay dividends in USD I plan to journal these holdings to the USD side of my TFSA. Is there any risk that it could be deemed an over contribution by the CRA? I hear of cases where transferring TFSA assets from one account to another causes this over-contribution.
Q: I'm compiling a list of a few medium sized oil and gas producers that might benefit from policy changes if the conservatives end up in government after next Tuesday. Any recommendations?
Q: I have to cash out 2/3s of my portfolio over the next 6 weeks to buy a house. Would you cash out everything at once today on strength or average out specific holdings based on technicals, earnings reports, and dividend dates. if the latter, What other criteria would you consider. Thank you.
Q: I remember a fair amount of noise years ago about the baby boomers soon moving into retirement homes and recommending that people invest in these companies. To me it was nonsense because, at that point, the leading edge of that demographic was only approaching 70. Now the leading edge, born in 1946, is around 73 years old and will be moving into retirement homes with increasing frequency as they give up their own homes.
Which of these businesses would you recommend? Secondly, is it a government regulated industry that may never be allowed to charge what the market will bear? Finally there be a noticeable impact on the residential real estate market?
Q: I'm holding about 21% cash right now and would like to invest most of it in foreign equities to diversify from my mostly Canadian portfolio. Do you have any specific ideas of what I may include, ETFs or stocks? I'm wide open for suggestions. My main objective is capital appreciation but I'm aware that good dividend payers most often do better than non-dividend payers.
Q: As far as Canadian bank stocks are concerned, I don’t hear to much on National Bank. Given the state of the housing market and it’s home province being Quebec, I would think there mortgage portfolio should have good growth. Would this make NA a buy, of are there other factors in bank earning that are more paramount. If not NA, which bank would you recommend, or would you stay away from the banks for now.
Q: My only US “health care “ investment has gone south on me and I could really use your advice.....stick with it, bale out or change to a better performer. Can you help Me? Thanks guys and ladies.
Q: If the company becomes cash flow positive this quarter and they have a few wins outside of Texas, would you look at picking up coverage again? If not, under what conditions would you, if at all??
Q: A PSA for all. I finally achieved my first double as a member of the 5i fan club. The stock is...... drum roll.... CSU. Bought in 2017 at the low low price of $650.00.
My next double would seem to be BYD. Bought in at $96.00. So for those out there who think that stocks like the one mentioned are too expensive, take heed. Not all work out, but the doubles help.
