Q: CNQ is now yielding 10%. Based on your analysis and current oil prices can they keep paying it?
Q: How do you feel about bns or the banks at these levels?
How much downside do you see if we re in a recession and oil price stays low for some time? I am tempted in view of the usual stability, yield, oligopoly, sustainable payout, etc.
Appreciate your comments.

Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
I am looking to take advantage from the current market dip and add the the above securities and ETF to my RRSP Portfolio. My time frame is 5 to 10 years. with adding the above I will be having all the 5i balanced portfolio stocks included. In addition I am adding some ETF and other stock that I think it can help my portfolio. Appreciate you advise of which stock look good at this time to buy (please rank). Is there any of the list I should avoid. Do you have other suggestions for good quality stocks and ETF (in the US and Canada) that have a good growth potential.
Thanks,
YR

Q: Hello Peter and Team,
Like most others, I'm licking my wounds tonight and strategizing how I might eventually make back some of the ground I've lost today. Thank you for the updated report and shopping list suggestions provided.
As well, I was thinking that there may be some good recovery opportunities within electronic transaction companies. I realize that interest rates, volume of transactions, etc., are some of the factors that will affect valuations, but the corona virus could be a boost for these companies if more of the world's consumers (especially in developing countries) move to a cashless society. I read that China is burning or disinfecting a lot of their paper money to help curb infection spread. Do you agree with this thesis, and if so, could you suggest a list of companies that could benefit? Could there also be boost to bitcoin adoption? Thanks.

Q: Thank you for the special report and the 10 companies to keep an eye on during these volatile times. The only question I have is the impact felt to the travel industry and if there are any companies from that industry that we should keep an eye on as well. Travel plans are already being reconsidered and I'm sure will only get worse and could be badly beaten over the course of time. Thank you for all your advise....

Q: Hi can you please explain what the prospectus filing on March 6/2020 for OVV means, they will be selling common shares and securities? Reading some of the Sedar's filings but not totally clear to me, does this mean they are delisting the stock or just selling their portion of shareholder equity (shares and debt)?
I own these shares in a TFSA and Canadian non-registered account, would there be tax implications?
Thanks

Q: What do you think of adding 1/3% to ENB in this environment? ENB is currently 3.3% of my portfolio with an average cost of $45.75. Their record of dividend increases is impressive.
Also, is ENB adding many / any Wind or Solar assets to their mix? They hint at this in some communications.

Q: I have $87,000 to invest in my RRIF. At the age of 85, my required annual deduction is high. Could you recommend 4 or 5 stocks with good yields and a reasonable degree of safety to hold in my RRIF? Would any REITs be suitable for that purpose?
Q: Could you name 3 Canadian energy companies that are low cost, debt-free producers that might be worth watching for an entry point?

Q: Hi Team,
What are you thoughts about Financial data and stock exchanges stocks. They are holding up quite well and will have less impact from the interest rate cuts and financial meltdowns. Which one would you recommend from the 4 companies listed at current valuation.
Thanks
