Q: Could you explain why this preferred share is selling such a discount . Would it be a good buying opportunity for income? What would be the possible downside?
Q: Do you see any reason why BCE cannot keep paying there dividend and keep raising it at say five percent per year for the foreseeable future? I am looking at selling long term puts at about sixty two dollars and would appreciate your thoughts. Do you consider the governments comments about high cellphone rates as a serious concern? THANKS
Q: Happy Holidays to all at 5i!!!! I am thinking of initiating a position in DCBO for growth in my TFSA. Your thoughts would be welcome. Cheers, Tamara
Q: I've owned this for several years as an income stock. Over the past year it has performed very poorly, with no evidence that management has any concern. Do you see any potential for price recovery, or will that only happen after I've dumped it.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Hello 5i team. Purchased 20,000 shares of this stock in July 2018. Compelling technology and story. And really, how can you not cheer for a nascent Canadian success story headquartered on the rock? Semi-patient investor with long time horizon. Do you have any information that would allow you to provide insights for 2020? Fully expect a roller a bit of a roller coast on this one.
Q: Is there a TSX ETF that is basically FAANG stocks ? Thanks.
Q: I have two small positions in CSH.UN (1.3%) and SIS (1.0%), and I wanted to consolidate the invested capital into one holding. I consider them both to be investments within the healthcare space, which is part of the reason for consolidating these two holdings. I am strongly leaning towards selling CSH.UN and buying more SIS. Does this sound reasonable, or is there another option worth considering?
Q: Do you think this is a good investment other than it has a great dividend...i hold a small amount of this and am thinking of adding more...could i have your thoughts on this....thanks...Gene

Q: AXSM
I owned this stock 2k shares at $18. It rose extremely quickly and I sold my position at $48.
It is now over $100, some of the current recent reports I have been reading are amazing and it was just upgraded with a target price of $180.
It is currently $100. What do you think of AXSM, should I just leave it and post the gain or should I reenter again at 5X the price I bought less than a year ago?
Your opinion would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sheldon

Q: I was reviewing my portfolio and thinking about 2020. Right now I have a large cash position and will want to invest some of that next year. But in what stocks?
An interview with Sir John Templeton on ROBTV many, many years ago came to mind and it may be a good advice for others.
Sir John was asked when was a good time to buy a stock and he stated "at the point of maximum pessimism".
Then he was asked when was a good time to sell a stock and he replied "you sell a stock when you find a better stock to buy."
I hope I can remember that advice as we move into and through 2020.
