Q: I would be interested in your thoughts on MRT.un for an unregistered account and fc.ca in my TFSA for safety and reasonable monthly income.

- Savaria Corporation (SIS)
- Exact Sciences Corporation (EXAS)
Q: Hi there,
I have a fairly heavy weighting of SIS that is about break even. I'm tiring of waiting for it and wonder what your advice would be on selling SIS to establish 3 equal weighted positions in VRTX, EXAS and ISRG? My thinking is I like the medical exposure and they are nicely diversified. Do you like this move and would you choose these 3 companies or suggest an alternative?
Thanks

Q: Hi- can I have your quick analysis of this tech - its been on a tear
Q: What is your opinion on UNS. Are there better alternatives
Q: I hold utility and REIT typ etfs in my portfolio like CSH.un, BIP, BEP, H, ...which represent 30% of my portfolio, I'm 68 and retired, would it be risky to consider these type of investments as near like bond investments in a 60% stocks -40% bond portfolio? Thank you!
Q: I really liked the recent results from Tecsys, showing excellent growth of revenue and profit, and initiated a small position. Thinking of adding some more. Seems like a less expensive logistics/supply chain type company than Descartes, which seems pricey to me, for the growth rate DSG has. Do you like TCS, or is DSG a better buy here for long term growth? Thanks.
Q: For the more passive investor have you considered a small portfolio of ETF's that complement each other and provide a steady flow of income? I have stocks in addition to 4 ETF's yet I'm not sure if the ETF's I have are a good 'set' or have too much overlap. Maybe an addition to the 3 Portfolios you have now, one made up of X number of ETF's.
Q: Do you have any idea why PFE dropped so much in August 2019?
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,
Jim
Q: Is this a good time too buy into this stock also could give me your out look on pot industry .

Q: Thanks to you Peter, I purchased Winpak (a co I'd never heard of) when I first joined 5i over 5 years ago. and am up about 75%. That said, it's been flat for the past 3 years and, since it's now in my TFSA, I'm wondering if it's time to sell for either a growthier or a higher-dividend paying company. I'm prepared to be patient, but if you see WPK as having a low dividend and slow growth future, perhaps it's not an ideal TFSA holding. Your thoughts appreciated.
- Kinaxis Inc. (KXS)
- Open Text Corporation (OTEX)
- Brookfield Asset Management Inc Class A Limited (BAM)
Q: Hi 5i,
I'm considering our 2020 TFSA contribution options and wonder whether we should add to our BAM holding (1.7%), OpenText (1.5%) or start a new position in Kinaxis? Our other Brookfield holdings (in registered accounts) include BEP (5%) and BIP (4%). Thanks for your advice.

Q: What is your view of Peyto at this time as 3-5 year hold?
Thanks,

Q: I am a conservative, retired, dividend-income investor. I normally save up to 5% "full positions" for typical blue chip stocks, like the telecoms, pipelines, banks, etc.
I have partial positions in Leon's (2% position), Magna (2%) and Nutrien (1.5%). Would you add to any or all of these? At this stage in the market cycle, would you favour one over the rest...please rank.
Thanks...your guidance throughout 2019 was much appreciated...love the service.

Q: Hello Peter, just wondering what is driving REITs price lower today, considering both U.S. and Canada 10 yr bond yield trending down quite a bit today. Thanks!
- NorthWest Healthcare Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (NWH.UN)
- SIR Royalty Income Fund (SRV.UN)
Q: Hello,
Happy New Year! What are your thoughts on SIR corp. They seem to have an attractive dividend..but ..is this a red flag? or a good time to pick up a few..NWH.un had an attractive dividend a few years ago with over 10% and then had some decent capital gains..Would you consider this a similar opportunity? Thanks.
Regards,
Shyam
