Q: Hi, Quarterly results missed all estimates for the second quarter in a row. The stock was added to Balanced Portfolio, 6-8 weeks ago at $39.90, with the thesis that it was just one bad quarter and it was time to start a position. Your advice has been to stay course as strong growth is expected over next 2 years, even after today's earnings release. Apparently, market does not agree. What influenced your decision to add this stock to the 5i Portfolio and do you still support it despite its dismal performance and 30% loss in value in just one day. Thank you

Q: With the recent moves to zero commissions in the US IBKR has taken a significant hit in price. Would you suggest selling this company and putting money in something like SYF or MRVL. Concern is IBKR growth is going to be very limited over the next few years.

Q: I have positions in these companies way way under my cost. Looking for a strategy to capture some tax loss without giving up completely in allocation in case of oil turnaround. Consolidation in less number of stocks that represents the best potencial is an option or selling all of them and buying two or three different companies is another option. Appreciate any suggestion. Thanks for your help.

Q: Hi, Equitable Group has been on a tear and Home Capital is close. Today's results were excellent and EQB has committed to increasing dividends 20-25% every year for next 5 years. Stabilizing housing/mortgage market and improving sentiment has been the primary reason helping this meteoric rise.
What is your opinion on this sector and would you support starting a position in either of these companies for a 5 year hold. If so, which one would you prefer, in terms of Valuation, ROC and Growth prospects? Thanks
