Q: I have just opened a TFSA account in $US. Can you recommend an ETF or other place, to park tbe money, for a few months, while I figure out what stocks I want to buy? Thank you.

Q: It seems Amazon will disrupt the pharmacy business worldwide with the announcement today (Jan.21) of an opening in 3 countries. Stock reacted with a nice pop on heavy volume. PillPack was a $750 mm business when Amazon bought it 18 months ago; how big is it now and what do you think of its potential?
Q: ERO Copper recently gave an update on production and forecasts for 2020. I thought the results from 2019 were pretty good considering the issues in Q3. The outlook for 2020 is positive. There is a forecast for a deficit in Copper in a few years, not sure why we a seeing such a significant pullback.
Q: What do you know about the pop in TherapeuticsMD's price today on big volume?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: As is Mike, the tracker I am using (Morningstar) does not register BYD properly. It is stuck at $202, which is the price of BYD.UN on Dec 31st. I have deleted BYD.UN and put in BYD to no avail. Is anyone using a free tracker that has the correct BYD listing?
Q: Just noticed a question from Michael about having some issues with Google Sheets function pulling quotes for BYD (Boyd Group Services).
I'm having issues too! It is not working for either BYD.UN or BYD. Just to confirm the formula to use is typically:
=GOOGLEFINANCE("exchange:tickersymbol") This is what should work, but is not currently working at the moment:
=GOOGLEFINANCE("TSE:BYD")

Q: When looking at these stocks in terms of management team, growth, potential, and outlook for 5-10 years+, how you would rank them in order starting with the best and why?
Q: Do you expect that BYD will get more attention/investors to drive up the price now that it is listed on TSX?

Q: I started following the 5i balanced equity portfolio in my LIRA a couple of months ago, but to change it up I am thinking about taking a 5% portfolio position in one of these companies. I have a 25-year investment time horizon for my LIRA. If I wanted to replace one of the 5i balanced equity portfolio funds with one of SHOP, APPL, TSLA, GOOG or AMZN, what would you recommend (both the one I would sell and the one to replace it with)?

Q: Hello Peter, Asked this question over weekend, but may be lost somewhere so asking again.
As part of a balanced portfolio in TFSA, which of these are worthy of new money in order of preference ( FROM TOTAL RETURN PERSPECTIVE - 3 YEAR TIME FRAME), I own all of these but low in weights. X, NFI, TOY,NTR,QSR,SIS, ATD.
Or if anyone else you like better.
Also, if any of these is a outright sell and re-allocate into others.
