Q: Hello 5i, I’ve invested a portion of my grandmother’s TFSA in CDZ looking for a decent diversified relatively low risk dividend (to be reinvested) payer, which I’ve seen recommended on here a few times. I was on morning star and I came across those two funds which seems to have outperformed despite their similarities and higher MER. Could you please explain the fundamental differences between the three and rank them from best to worst for a 5 year horizon according to your opinion? I wasn’t able to access the complete funds’ holding details. Thank you!!
Q: Peter and staff;
Just adding my compliments to Mikes comment. It is so nice to be able to see each separate account and holdings. Is 5i big enough to monetize yet- I’m sure you could sell enough IPO
shares just from the happy members.

Q: I am underweight in US in my portfolio - for example in my communication sector AT+T represents only 2% -of a 17% weighting. What are some US communication funds that have performed well and appear to continue to do so - please list in order on rating. What are your thoughts on AT+T? Thank you for your excellent service.
Q: Hi there,
Could I please get your 2 opinions on these US listed stocks? Would you consider them buys at the current prices? For NVTA can I get your opinion on their acquisition of ArcherDx?
Thanks for your great service!

Q: My ques. is about Co. Equity Financings and in particular related to small cap stocks raising additional capital for expansion or operating costs. Often these financings include both a share and a warrant. Typically there is a 4 month hold period before trading is allowed. There may also be Broker shares and warrants issued as well. My question is whether all of these shares and warrants issued under the financing (including the Broker's) are subject to the same 4 month hold period? Can some parts of the same financing be exempt from the 4 month hold, while other parts are not and why? Lastly, what may be the exceptions to the 4 month hold requirement for any Co. doing additional financing? Thank you.

Q: In regards to utilities should I switch Aqn into bep.un as the latter stock price continues to outperform?
Q: The last comment was over a year ago, and performance since then has been disappointing. Can you comment on current prospects?
Q: As a follow up to my earlier question about Preferred shares as a form of income. I currently hold about 53% of my portfolio in savings account funds only giving me 1.5% dividend which is low, however as you mentioned the price will not drop so it is safe and also very liquid. I was thinking about taking 1/4 of that money (12% of my total portfolio) and putting it is some preferred share because the dividends are much higher. I do not plan to utilize this amount of funds for a while and it would give me a bit of extra return on my money. I currently have about 8% in common shares of banks, 8% in XLB, 12% in gold stocks, 12% in technology stocks, the rest in other various stocks not in those groups. I use the Savings Account mutual funds as cash for when I decide to buy stocks and I have been increasing my holdings slowly since the March lows. Would it be better just to buy the common dividend paying stock or is there an advantage to buying the preferred. I know the preferred share have a higher hierarchy if a company goes bankrupt but they are very much more illiquid.
Thanks again,
Brendan
P.S. when are either you or Ryan going to appear on BNN market call again? Have not seen yee there for a while now.
