Q: Hello, what is your opinion of Quaterhill in today's market? I have owned this for sometime in a TFSA and have been in a losing position for a long time just collecting the div. Would you sell this take the loss and move the money into something with a potential better return like ATD.B, NTR or PLC these are also owned in the same account. Or would you wait another quarter or two? The virtual AGM is on April 15th. Thanks

Q: I currently have a 45% equity, 35% bond, 10% preferred and 10% cash portfolio. Was waiting to allocate the cash the market when the virus issue clears. Corporate bond spreads are insufficient to cover the inherent risk. Should I consider the alternative income fund arena as a place to invest? I have noticed even pension plans are moving into this space.

Q: Good day team, with current environment for context, and looking at tech/big data companies: Are there etfs (Canadian but with CDN/US/Global exposure) that cater to broad based tech. Q: TFII: a lot of debt., low PR @ 25%, excellent ROE of approx. 22%, diversified company. I own nothing in this space. Everything is up a lot this week - who would have figured with all the negative media news (what's new)? They report later this month. I do not know a lot about this company? I assume transportation of goods, courier services etc.? Low fuel prices is certainly helping their bottom line as this would be a huge expense. 1000 shs would be a full position for me - maybe buy 500 now? Is the dividend safe (high debt.)?

Q: I have been a holder of KEY for some time now. I have stayed with it as it went from a darling to a dog. It's current ratio and debt to equity ratio are not good and the price of nat gas is very low. Today they announced the temporary closing of 4 plants to consolidate operations. I think they are a good management team but am beginning to wonder why I'm being so faithful. Can I get your perspective. Hold or sell?
