Q: A question about corporate bonds from Gary posted April 14, was answered with "We would prefer to comment on individual issues that your broker might have rather than list several that might not be available." I see that your income portfolio includes CVD. This ETF seems to be not very large and not very liquid; is that correct? If so, I would otherwise be leery of taking a position; but here it is in the portfolio. Is it indeed something that is recommended? If not, is there another ETF that would be better? Or is an ETF not the way to go because of the potential failure of some bonds in any basket? Thanks,

Q: I realize this is completely out of your area of expertise, but I am at my wits end and hoping your experience, or that of your subscibers, can help. My sons received Brookfield Infrastructure Exchangeable Units as a result of the Enercare buyout in 2018. The units appeared in their accounts at BMO Investorline as they were supposed to, but have no symbol, just a name, and they continue to show a price and receive the distributions. I contacted Investorline to find out how to exchange them for "regular" units and they advised me to contact Brookfield. When I contacted Brookfield, they told me the conversion had to be done through the broker, and gave me a contact for my broker to call. I passed the information on to Investorline, and they responded that I had to do the exchange directly through Computershare. Trying to deal with Computershare has been like hitting my head against a brick wall. Do you or anyone reading this have any idea how to go about converting the Brookfield Infrastructure Exchangeable units into regularly traded units?

Q: Compelling argument in the financial post recently on oils rebound - ‘how the corona virus is setting the stage for the next oil boom’. Do you buy into this thesis? If so what companies would you look at with most upside and safety (Eg will be around to see it through)

Q: Hi folks, comments on Q results for Aphria...looks like actual profit of +.02 per share, and a beat on Revenue. Starting to see the many failures in Pot Sector, but Aphria has $500M cash, and appears to be 1 of the few leaders in Pot land. Raymond James called a bottom in Pot sector in Q1/20, stabalization in Q2 & 3 with bankruptcies/mergers/buyouts etc...and the few remaining companies start to thrive in Q4/20. Do you agree with their thesis...and do you think Aphria will be one of the survivors?? Thanks as always & stay safe, jb Piedmont QC

Q: Good morning,

I have some cash to add to 3 new US technology positions. I am looking for growth, and I am comfortable with volatility. Looking out 5 years what would be your favourites from the list above at current valuations. Any concerns with the list above? I already own MSFT, SQ, RPD, DOCU, AYX. If you have other suggestions please do share. Thanks in advance.

Q: I talked to a RBC adviser and he told me that I can exchange new BIPC shares into BIP.UN but don't have any information on exchanging of BIP.UN units into BIPC shares. Do you have any information whether BIP.UN units can be exchanged into BIPC shares?
