Q: Good evening!
I just read your update, and was somewhat surprised reading the asterisked comment regarding holdings in ZRE. My understanding was that you did not invest in Canadian positions. I also assumed that any staff, directors, and such were held to the same obligation. Has this philosophy changed? Is this a singular exception, and if so will this holding be sold by the one holding the position?
Feel free to publish your response as it is my belief that other members would be interested in your answer, but may not have been inclined to ask the obvious question.

Q: I have money invested in BK. Indo not see how this company can stay in business paying a ~10% dividend yield when almost everything crucial is negative e.g. EPS REVENUE PROFIT MARGIN etc. etc according to yahoo finance, stockhouse and TD research platforms. Can you please explain to me how risky this company is from one to 10. 1 being safest and 10 being riskiest. Where do they get their money from? Do they skim the dividends off the bank stocks and give me less and pocket the rest? My next question is UEX. Uranium is finally getting warmer is this company safe and profitable? Do you think the uranium spot price will increase back to ore Fukushima days? If so how long will it last and when will the next spike be? I'm averaging around 28 cents. My next question is EHT. They been halted for many days now do you know anything that's going on? Are halts lasting this long usually bad news? It's doing a reverse split 1:20 and are reverse splits usually bad news?
Finally Lydian. Such a promising company. They entered some liquidation agreement and some trial is coming up soon. It's called "Just and Equitable Windup". What does this mean? Did I lose everything? It is still trading everyday?

Q: I am thinking of adding to my holdings of CSU. It has done very well for me so far. Is this still a good level to buy at?

Q: Hi Guys

I believe in the space REIT's you prefer apartment and Industrial REITS these days. Looking at the Industrial REITS can you let me know which company you would prefer today given their current valuations and stock price they are trading at? I am looking at a long term hold - so out at least 5 years, and looking at total return, hopefully a nice dividend but also a track record of increasing dividend and a solid management team.

With Chinese flocking to their theaters as a sign of what is to come post Covid, do you think the pent up demand in Canada will save CGX? Or is CGX now too debt laden and too risky for investors to bother?

I don't like speculation so I guess I want to know if the worst is over and this is a real investment opportunity in a company which now has enough time to overcome its misfortunes and see better days ahead.

What is a good entry point if you want to play?

Also, I know your two preferred companies in the Canadian telco space are Telus (growth) and BCE (income). I ran a comparative chart for T, BCE and CCA, the results are overwhemingly in favour of CCA at every timeframe (1 month, 3month, 1 year, 3 year and especially 5 year). Excluding dividends CCA is up 80% on the 5 year vs. T at 35% and BCE down 4%. YTD CCA is up 18% and BCE is flat in this very strong market. Is there something in the risk profile of CCA that I may be missing? Any thoughts on why CCA has been so strong YTD.

Q: Hello, this is a CDN-listed ETF, is there any tax issues (WHT) having it in a TFSA? It gives large-cap exposure to the US market, and non-hedged. Can ZSP be considered solid enough to be a core holding in a person's ETF basket?

BTCC has a 1-per-cent management fee and will invest in the physical form of bitcoin rather than futures that would allow investors to speculate on the price at a later date. The fund will track the TradeBlock XBX Index, which uses an algorithm to calculate the consolidated price of bitcoin every second.

Q: I have done well with this stock in my TFSA but have trouble knowing when to sell this momentum play. Do you look at technicals , ie. volume, RSA ? Do you look at market attitude towards the sector, ie. what’s hot what’s not ? Do you consider portfolio composition ? I also held on to the LTRX shares that I rec'd via ITC because they have been in business for a long time, their products are in a diverse range of industries, the SaaS and IoT aspects and a big backlog. I interpret the backlog as partly due to factors beyond their control so this could be a negative.
You stated in a previous answer that good growth is expected this year. Do you still see good growth and what is your take on the recent results? Thank you.
