Q: Hi,
Considering we a likely to see a continued increase in demand for Nat Gas given the number of LNG ports being brought online in the US, which would be your picks if looking to partake in what might be future gains and over what sort of period would you expect these potential gains to evolve?
Many thanks for all your insight!

Q: I always like following the Form 13F SEC disclosures in the USA made by major investors. One of the guys I follow is Stanley Druckenmiller (Duquesne Family Office). I note that he has recently taken a new position in Kinder Morgan. Can I have your thoughts on this name for a new buy? Thank you,

Jason

Q: Hello 5i,
I recently came across CCA in one of your latest screenings. I need to add about 1% to the Communications sector and already hold BCE (RRSP) and T (TFSA) as pretty much full positions - at least if they stop being 25 - 30% under water!!
With the 6% yield on CCA (and the last question asked in January), I was wondering if you had any updated thoughts on adding this one to an RRSP, soon to be RRIF, for retired, conservative, income-oriented investors OR would you just add to either BCE and/or T, or go with a new position in Rogers or perhaps VZ:US?
Thanks,
Cheers,
Mike

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

In the Real Estate sector, and across all our accounts, we own DIR.UN, FSV, and IIP.UN. FSV has been a stellar performer, and without 5i’s initial recommendation, it wouldn’t have been considered, and is certainly one we want to keep.

However, when I look at the charts for DIR.UN and IIP.UN, I see that Dream Industrial has a much better long-term record. Does a residential real estate stock need to be owned in one’s portfolio? If IIP.UN isn’t really necessary, I’m considering selling it and putting the proceeds into DIR.UN. Both IIP.UN and DIR.UN have made money, but of course, Dream has made a lot more.

Your comments, as always, are greatly appreciated.

Q: Both PBH and PLC don't seem to want to recover from their poor recent performance despite each having had decent quarters. Investors just don't seem interested in them and I am also becoming less so and thinking of selling at a loss. Is there a case for continuing to hold?
Thanks for your advice.

Q: Hypothetically, a person has $100,000 to invest in a non-registered account. If this was you: a) currently, what would be your top stock/etf CDN picks? (technology excluded; Balanced/growth focus, not income); 5 year time frame b) how would you allocate the 100K? Thank you. 5iResearch has been fantastic!

Q: With quarterly earnings winding down I'm curious to hear about about a couple of your biggest surprises. Are there a few outliers on the positive and negative side? Can be US or Canadian.

Q: Can you comment on its most recent Q please. Also, Ace Beverage has acquired Nude RTD beverage. There has also been some recent change to the board. Seems like much activity has been going on with this company relatively speaking. Can you comment on whether you see the recent Q, additional RTD acquisition of Nude has potential to
generate some growth or do you continue to view it as an income stock. Would you buy, sell or hold the stock. If sell what would you buy instead?

Q: long time holder of XDV (15 yrs). I see XDIV has outperformed by far since its inception with similar yield and lower MER. For what is worth XDIV has a 5 star Morningstar rating vs 2 stars for XDV. Thinking of switching my XDV for XDIV. Your opinion please.
