Q: Thank you sharing your insight answering my most recent questions.

BCE is getting quite a working over and I have a few questions (please deduct as necessary).

BCE next reports on May 2 (I believe) and +ive perf. is likely essential

1) How accurate has BCE been on its reporting historically?

2) How far in advance of the "official" report do they provide guidance or their anticipated performance?

3) What would some early indicators of a dividend cut or worse be? (Prior to May 2).

I suppose Telus would be subject to similar forces and in the same boat.

Thank you

Q: Insurance companies make money with the float. Could you tell how re-insurance companies make their profit? To split the risk, does an insurance companie has to provide funds for the re-insurance? Today, with interest rate higher for longer, with soft landing, no major tubulence, do you prefer one type of business over the other?

Thanks

Q: I currently have equal weights in ZAG and VFV (about 6% each) and a fair chunk of "cash" for stability. Rate drops seem to be stalled, so ZAG is going nowhere fast. OTOH VFV is flying high and might have temporarily peaked. I don't want to lose out on the eventual bond bounce, but I wonder if I should dump ZAG to get the potential VFV upside. I realize this might be crystal ball territory.
