Q: Hi guys great job again.
I have about 5% of lspd in my tfsa and 2 % of bldp. I have noticed that lightspeed as been doing well this past week my concern is since all restaurants are still closed, i know that they have plenty of money but how long can they survive no one as a clue when restaurants will re-open and i believe less people will be dining out. Your thoughts on this company please as should i still hold i have it at $32.75 per share or should i dump and just move on. thank you Wilson

Q: I currently own DSG,KXS,LSPD,OTEX,PHO,SYZ. I know you took out SYZ some time ago and can't find what you replaced this stock with? I know you still follow SYZ and just wondered if you feel that there is a better stock than SYZ or would you continue to hold this stock with the other stock mentioned?
Thanks

Q: Dear Peter and Ryan.

Thank for your great work. I have a full time job and receive T4. I am filing income taxes for some capital gain last year. I am wondering whether I can claim the membership subscription here as an expense to offset the capital gain. Where to fill the number if yes?

Thanks again,
Yiwen

Q: Looking to invest my CRA return in two of the above companies. I am well diversified, growth oriented and looking at a 3 to 5 year timeframe. Please rank the named companies with any appropriate comments.
Much appreciated as usual. ram

Q: I'm looking to start a new position in one of the above. They are both trading very close to each other in valuation. CN is bigger with more reach so I was leaning that way but wanted your take. Why would you go with one over the other? This would be in my TFSA.

(I feel like I have enough spicy growth names in my TFSA and am looking for something I can let sit for 20 years and not think about.)

Thanks

Q: What are your thoughts on BAM's move to help retail with a 5B investment. I'd imagine its only helping companies that are its tenants so that it may prevent some large vacancies. Are they taking equity in these retailers for lending them money? Didn't BAM do this in 2016 with Rouse and 2018 with GGP and both were bad moves? Struggling to see how this is a good move, retail is a nightmare and for good reason.

Q: Hi 5i,
I currently have shares in LSPD and RESN and looking to add two more tech oriented names, and can be either US or CAN$. Do you have two growth companies you could suggest to start new positions at current share prices, with the intention for a 5 year min hold?
Thank you
Terry

Q: You recently mentioned that it might be time to trim holdings in REAL because it has done so well. I thought your subscribers should be aware that following their recent results, analysts were unanimous in raising their forecasts and targets so this might further explain the strong performance of the stock. Stay safe.

Q: Good morning,
Just looking over the real dogs I own and Freshii stands out as one of the baddest dogs of all (I bought it at around $9.00 a few years ago immediately after the investment arm of a certain bank had touted it as an outperformer destined for twice that - within a week it fell 50% and it's just kept right on falling) which leads me to ask: based on the available information what do you see for Freshii over the next 3 years or so? Has it got any future prospects worth waiting for at all, do you think? (My holding is in a reg'd account and is now worth very little so selling doesn't help with taxes and won't free up much cash to put elsewhere - I'm asking more out of interest than out of thinking I can actually accomplish anything with this cur.)
Thanks!
Peter

Q: These companies have been doing well lately. When I googled them, each of them all claimed are a cloud communications platform as a service company. I couldn't figure out any differences between them if there are. Could you please help me to understand them? If I pick one to invest, from growth potential perspective, which one you would suggest? From risk/reward perspective, which one do you pick?

Many thinks as always

Q: Hello Peter & Team,

Everyone is starting to focus on how to re-open the economy and what it might look like. All Elective Surgeries were cancelled as well all know, and as a result there is an estimated 30,000 patients who have had their surgery put on hold. Catching up on the back-log is going to take a number of years.

The private sector is going to be heavily leaned to help with this catch-up. Do you have any idea which companies and/or sector(s) might benefit from this in the coming years?

Thanks for all you do

gm
