Q: Hi, looking to add to the fixed income part of my portfolio, I hesitate between CBH and CBO. In the current state of affairs, should I go for a short-term etf like CBO or go with CBH for which the duration is a reasonable 4.5 years. I have mainly individual govn’t bonds at this point plus 10% total in XBB and XSB. Thanks

Could you give your opinion of this company and will it be a major player in the 5G sector. Would you consider it a strong growth company.
Thank You,

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! My son has a TFSA with the following holdings: ATD.B,BMO,BNS,ZWU,BAM.A,ENB,FTS,GWO, KXS,LSPO,OTEX,PBH,SHOP,VGT. Courtesy of the rebalancing of Shop, he has 50K to be redeployed. I would like to purchase five companies. Any suggestions, considering what he has in the portfolio already? I am looking for long term holds , preferably growth stocks. Cheers, Tamara,

Q: Hi 5i, David's Tea filed for CCAA and Chapter 11. Seems thier plan is to wiggle out of their lease commitments and emerge from creditor protection focused mostly online and wholesale distribution while maybe keeping a few stores. How does this work for the common equity holders? They have cash and may have a good business going forward but I would have thought the current equity holders would get wiped out in a restructuring. But the stock still trades around the same price as when they announced the restructuring early last week. Who would be buying this stock and why, what scenario would they be banking on?
Thanks
Rob

Q: I started a new portfolio mid June and invested 50% of the funds; so far its up 10.5%. I'm planning on investing the balance in the same stocks, would you suggest I wait a bit longer perhaps after the 2nd Q results or further out? It's a long term investment; I believe you suggest buying over a period of time, just trying to get your thoughts on when.
