Q: I am considering starting a new position in REAL and wanted to know if you believe now is an appropriate time to initiate given the recent run-up in stock price. My primary concern is growth and I am interested to know whether you feel the stock is fairly valued or over vlaued at current levels. Do you feel the company can continue to grow / increase profits with the current economic backdrop. Thank you.

Q: I have a follow up question on NKLA (thanks for the very quick response by the way).

Just wondering how you would interpret the fact that the there is such a divergence between the at the money put and call prIces. For example, at $65 strike, July call last traded at $7.20 while put traded at $31.20. Is option market telling you something quite different than stock market? Is such divergence from put-call parity common?

Thx,

Steven

Q: Will the new arrangement SHOP has with WMT hurt it's business with AMZN? and why?

Steven Roach was speaking yesterday and says that he feels that with what the fed actions are and have been he sees the US$ retracing by 35% in the future. Do you agree and why? Also, what do you reccommend 5i readers do if they have substantial money invested in US equities?

Thanks

Sheldon

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I've held B2 Gold for a long time (like 10 or 12 years) and I am sitting on a 110% gain. It's 1.3% of my total equity portfolio and precious metals and PM equities are about 14% of my total investments today. I'm considering selling my BTO and shifting that over to an existing 2.3% position in FNV that I've also held for a long time to bring that up to 3.6%. I'm also wondering if I should continue to diversify into other possible big gainers like WDO or if I should move this money into other names I already own. I'm curious what you think the best move here is?

For information purposes, my Precious Metals positions include:
- 2.65% AEM (held for years)
- 2.4% PHYS (held for years)
- 2.3% FNV (held for years)
- 1.3% BTO (held for years)
- 1.2% KL (held for years)
- 1.1% FVL (added last Thursday)
- 0.9% WM
- 1.0% MAG
- 1.0% SIL

I'm bullish on precious metals and stocks given the monetization of basically everything and therefore have let this part of the portfolio run past the 10% weighting Iimit I used to have but I'm thinking that this sector should probably not be more than 15% of the portfolio and definitely not 20% of the portfolio.

Q: Hello 5i Team
Comparing Fairfax Financial and Intact Financial, both in the Property & Casualty Insurance sub-industry (TMX data), which is the better choice? FFH seems to always in the news about its other investments rather than its insurance business, whereas IFC appears to be solid in its insurance operations
According to a recent Globe & Mail article, IFC could be a potential acquirer of smaller P&C insurance companies, would this also apply to FFH or is FFH more interested in its other investments?
Trisura Group is listed as Specialty Insurance sector. Is it comparable to FFH and IFC, noting its market capitalization is only $380M compared to $12B / $18B for FFH/IFC?
Thanks

Q: I am looking for a lower risk ETF. My goal is to preserve capital, by beating inflation on an after-tax basis over a 5 to 10 year period, and not to lose any money. My view is that I can best achieve these objectives through an ETF which is diversified both sectorally and geographically. Do you agree?

I have been considering VIU, VXC, VEQT and XDG. What are your views? Do you agree with these possibilities, or do you feel there are better options available? What ETF do you think offers the best risk and reward? Do you feel the all-in-one ETFs will better achieve my investment objectives given the rebalancing feature?

Your thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated.
