Q: Your detail quote shows earnings of 21.50, but looking at their earning announcements on tdw it is not even close.
Did they sell an asset that gave them this one time earning.
Your thoughts on this company in the past shows a less then stellar impression yet the year low is 127 and closed yesterday at 328.
How does 5i. see it for a 2 yr or more hold.
Btw - a professional in the field I know thinks their scanner and products are second to none.
Thanks

Q: Hello, I would like to know about the Snowflake ipo and what are your thoughts. The fact that Berkshire and Salesforce are investing big on this makes it look very attractive. Between Snowflake and Palantir what would be your preference? Are they considered to be in the same sector? Thank you!

Q: Could you please comment on their recent financing. One of their Intended use of financing funds seemed to be to repurchase their own shares? Selling shares to buy their own shares doesn’t seem to make sense unless they had plan to Drive the share Price down.
Do you think they are planning a big buy Or a series of acquisitions like their Sister company Phm.
What is your going forward perspective on vmd. They seem to be in an ideal market area (ventilators) and able or pull in funds very cheaply and their shares seem to have consolidated. Thank you for the great unbiased advice you provide us diy investors.

Q: Someone asked about a basic book on investing. A clear explanation of how investing works and how to understand various ratios etc. Is a small book by jason Kelly, called , "The Neatest Little Guide To Stock Market Investing". It is not Buffer or Dodds, but he does give a brief description of their styles, but i think it is quite useful. It is maybe fifteen years old and has had various editions. I know there is a free pdf version available on the web. I didn't post it because i don't know the legality of it. I think it is probably an earlier version that is now out of print. But i don't think the version matters that much. It is just basic information

Q: I've just sold my house, and the cheque has been deposited into my Investorline non-registered account. Not quite sure what to do with it for the next few months. I've read the comments on PSA, and you've suggested money market funds too. I don't know anything much about them - is that something you buy online, or through Investorline? What would be your recommendation?
Thank you
