Q: 7:18 AM 10/7/2020
I am having a lot of difficulty trying to calculate or find Compound Annual Growth Rates [CAGR] of share prices without [and with] dividends reinvested. Do you know opf a reliable source?
Sources tend to differ a lot perhaps because of not properly accounting for share price stock splits.
I would appreciate it if you could give me CAGRs without and with dividends reinvested for
CNR, CP, TIH, RBA, TRI, BAM.A, RY, CSU.
Thank you......... Paul K.

Q: Hi crew, would you please be able to provide your expertise/direction regarding gold drill result analysis, particularly in Newfoundland? I see NFG hit almost 93 grams per tonne and then 41 grams per tonne. Their stock has been doing very well. However, Sokoman's Moosehead site hit 33 grams per tonne and 124 grams per tonne yet no big news. If you know of a website that helps us amateurs learn as well, it would be most appreciated.

Lastly, what are your general thoughts on Newfoundland as being the next big gold rush?

Thank you,
Kevin

Q: Hello Folks:
What is your opinion of these companies:
Caterpillar, cummins, cosco, walmart
I currently own caterpillar, cummins and cosco. Cummins and cosco have turned out very well. while caterpillar has struggled. Do you think industrials have much upside?
I am interested in what consumer staple businesses or others you may recommend such as cosco, walmart, touche card etc. to see us through these strange times.
Thank you very much

Q: For renewable energy, I already have BEPC and AQN. For pipeline and utilities, I've ENB and TRP. I can harvest a small tax loss by selling ENB. Should I use the sale proceeds to add to TRP or buy back ENB after 30 days? Which would you prefer and why? Or would I get much better future growth and financial strength by using the proceeds to buy another renewable energy company like NPI? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter,
I am down a little over 50% on Western Forest. It is in my TFSA account, so I will not get any benefit as a tax loss. I am willing to hold on to it if there's a reasonable chance that in a year or two the stock will start growing and a dividend will be re-instated. Would it be more prudent to sell the stock and take the loss and buy something else? And, do you have any suggestions for a replacement?
