Q: I have an old small position in Precision Drilling, which I can sell for a tax loss. I have been suffering with this small position so long, now, that I wouldn't like to sell it just when it pops! Any idea what I can watch as indicators regarding where the stock might go in the period of a month? And what would be a suitable placeholder substitute, which might have the same ability to bounce as PD under favourable circumstances?
thanks

Q: With some of the advance news coming out re the content of the upcoming throne speech, what impact will the speech itself have on the TSX, and what further impact will implementing the policies have on the TSX should this government remain in power. Is there anything proactive an investor should be doing to protect their portfolio for this? Thanks

Q: In response to Roy's question on Sept 11 you stated in part "earnings are expected to bounce in 2021 by up to 50%". I couldn't find any specific information supporting that position in the MD&A accompanying recent annual & quarterly results, other than management's generic confidence in increasing revenues once the pandemic impacts are over (whenever that is!) Have you any other specific information?

Q: greetings - i have owned this for about 5 years and the stock has really not done much other than increase dividends although still at a relatively low level (1.79%). Your thoughts on switching this out for either higher dividend paying stock or one with growth and a smaller dividend. Near retirement so....

Q: Hello,

At what price would the warrants for PSTH need to be purchased to have them make sense vs buying common shares? I understood the warrants to be equal to 1/9 of a common share. At present time, the PSTH shares are at 21.97 and the warrants (PSTH.WS) are at 7.60. How would you compute when to buy shares vs. warrants? Part 2 of the question would be when and how does PSTH.WS become common shares?

Q: I have held a position in OTEX for some time, and have a moderate gain, but I was wondering if it would be prudent to swap out my OTEX for CSU. I have losses against which I can neutralize my gain, so tax implications are not a prominent factor. Both are good companies, with the reputation of CSU being quite extraordinary. I have decent exposure to technology, and I don't feel that simply adding to it by purchasing CSU through selling off an investment in another category would be as prudent as keeping within my current allocations. I would appreciate any thoughts you could share with me. Thanks so much!
