Q: Bonds are one place that I do not understand well. Can you point me in a direction where I can learn more about bonds, especially related to predictions of interest rate rises over the next few years.

Q: Would you please recommend a couple of inverse etf's or bear funds to hedge the current market enthusiasm. Both Cdn and US pls. Thanks.
Q: Sold a put for OSB expires April 16, 2021 $44.00 strike. As things are now, my investing account showes a $492.00 loss. I find difficult how it shows a loss when OSB was taken out at $56.00 (give or take). I'm guessing that $12.00 is being discounted for difference in strike and take out price while approximately $30.00 extra for the WFT is being baked in. When the option expires will I potentially be holding 100 shares of WFG?
Q: What entry price would you recommend for NVDA?
Q: Responding to Wilson on Dec 21 you stated that Acuity Ads was moving up based on a "comparable valuation move" relative to TTD based on "price to sales" and that "momentum in the stock is about the best we have seen". Valuation relative to competitor MGNI was also mentioned in your response. Since then AT is up approx 40% while TTD is flat, and MGNI has more than doubled. Please provide an update on the current relative valuation of AT, TTD and MGNI using the price to sales metric (and any additional metric that you feel may be relevant). Do you consider AT to still be significantly undervalued relative to TTD and MGNI? Looking ahead, is it a takeover target? Do you think that the current momentum on AT will push it higher? Are there any catalysts on the horizon that may push it higher? Thanks to 5i I have a substantial position in AT with a cost base of $1.46. I really like to let my winners run but sitting on a holding with a 19x gain, I need to decide if/when to liquidate some of the position.....thank you.

Q: Hello Peter,
With the US elections and the senate win by the democrats, I was expecting that the US cannabis stocks would surge alot more than the Canadian ones. However, this is not the case and am wondering what that is.. For example. if you look at Aphria and Tilray, and Organirams, they have surged alot more than companies that are actually making money like Curaleaf in the USA .. Do you think this is because US companies are not surging as much due to them being on CDNX (not on TSX or NYSE) and may not be readily available for US investors..Also, can you comment on why Medmen is going through the roof in the last 5 days..? thanks very much

Q: Just wondering about the wisdom of purchasing this stock just to capture the dividend then selling it. You would only need to hold it for the time period necessary to be guaranteed the dividend which would be just a few days. I suspect the share price would not drop substantially in those few days. I do not care about share price appreciation that one would get with a buy and hold strategy.

Q: I took a position in BLOK:US on the recommendation of a contributor to your Canadian Money Magaine (BTW I give each of my three children a subscription for Christmas becasue it is simply the best financial advice product anywhere). The thesis of the nvestment was to participate in AI for the future. I put it away as a long term investment. BLOK has been showing extraordianary growth lately. I'm not sure why? Is there a specific reason? Is it a long term hold or a sell opportunity? David

Q: 5i,
A bit more information for Yves question on WELL. The following from an RBC note on CRH may be the major concern.
“Uncertainty regarding potential loss of largest customer. In December 2020, CRH disclosed that its largest customer (United Digestive, guided to contribute ~20% of 2021 Adj. EBITDA to SH) doesn't intend to renew its service agreement with CRH, which would negatively impact CRH's results beginning in 2022. Negotiations are continuing.”
