Q: Hi team:

since mid-Sept, this ETF has gone up by 2 dollars which is substantial as it is an
ETF for utilities

is there any seasonal trade for utility stocks ?
are new money shifting from another sector to utilities in general?

I made some small gains, should I add more or hold or sell?
aim for some capital gains but main goal is income from dividends as I am
retired
thanks for your wisdom and insight in this matter

Q: What is your take on the move by Telus into health data management and now agricultural data? Is this a long way from their core business? Do you think they will be able to compete with those already in the precision ag space (Ntr for example)? Most importantly, if I already own BCE, are they also getting into these sorts of data management activities, or should I be adding T to my portfolio?

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I hold these stocks in my RRSP : ATD.B, BCE, CCL.B, ENB, KXS, LSPD, MG, PAT, RY, TRP, and T. I was thinking of removing CCL.B, I've held it for 2 years and am down about $400 on it and replacing it with AQN for the dividend. Any thoughts on this move or what might you add with a better dividend or better growth. Thanks, always appreciate your insight. Nick

Q: Hi,

I hold a 2.5% position in NVDA after selling half to lock in my original costs. I'd like to pick up another high growth chip maker/developer/fabricator, and the listed companies are on my watch list. Ideally the company would have a great balance sheet (net cash), a pipeline of great products and great opportunity for growth - no dividend needed. Can you endorse one or two and/or recommend something not on the list?

Q: Given the current environment, No economic growth and slow downs in everything including resource companies, (mining, agriculture, etc) because of the pandemic. Are higher prices for commodities not coming across the board? Would this not be considered the set up for Stagflation? Moreover, how will global liquidity by all western governments contribute to this?
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Regards.

Q: Hi team,
Your response to a member's question on your "forward thoughts about CNE's Q3,s earnings were positive. Now that the earnings were out today, are your views still favourable?Total debt to total assets also seem reasonable. One year target prices vary from 7.00$ to 9.00$, seems overly "optimistic".
Many thanks,
Jean

Q: Hi again,

I asked a question about SAFE the other day. Thanks for your answer there.

I was actually asking because of the I didn't know whether the new public offering represented a positive or a negative sign. Can you comment on that?

Also, they talk about offering these shares at $61 until Nov 13 (tomorrow!) which is lower than the market price. I am a shareholder and would be interested in buying at this price, but am not sure if it's available to me or how I would acquire the shares.

Feel free to make this a public question if you think the information would be useful to other members. If you could reply in time for me to buy the shares (if I'm able), I'd appreciate it but don't expect it.
