Q: Hi 5iTeam - I was checking Insider holdings for Kinaxis and noticed a net selling total of $64 1/2 million. The CEO increased his holdings in the summer but the CFO's holdings have steadily declined. Other officers hold close to 0 shares and the holdings of the directors are low. First of all is this information accurate and secondly is it a concern. In summary what is the overall insider holding of Kinaxis.
This question does not include options. Thank you.

Q: You mentioned in a answer to a members question that low interest rates make privatization of a company more attractive. Can you name a few companies on the TSX that would be interested in going private? Absolute is one that has been mentioned by 5i over the years. And when a company takes itself private is it usually at a premium to the stock price on the day of announcing a privatization?

Q: I have no oil/gas stocks and would like to add one. Which of these (or other) would you recommend and please indicate why. For a 67 year old with an otherwise balanced portfolio. Thanks again for your experience and sound advise.

Q: I just asked a question about comment/thoughts on an oil/gas stock then I came across your response to a question where you mentioned the 5i couch potato portfolio (is it published elsewhere?). The clean energy ETF has done very well ICLN-Q. Would you recommend it? It has certainly been on a tear. If yes, could it replace the oil/gas component?

Q: Baby boomers, remember the song with the lyrics,"fly me to the moon". NIO began its ascension to the moon in mid year, say June 1 @ US$4.26,to reaching its peak in the morning of Nov 13 @ $54.20(Nov 12 $48.30 ) before a short attack. The notorious & powerful short seller,Citron(whose principal,Andrew Left was reputed to be a part time farmer) striked citing that Tesla's cutting prices of its EV in China a few times will have a negative impact on NIO & assigned a $25 target price. As a result Nio closed at $44.56 down $3.74 with a low of $40.55 on an astounding vol.of 579.1m(vs 3 mo.average of 143.6m),Nio is set to report Q results on Nov17 & good results are expected. Thinking of buying at lower prices. Please comment on the situation & your expert opinion going forward.Txs for u usual great services & views. Looking forward to seeing Peter on BNN on Nov 17

Q: No question on CoStar (CSGP) in the database.

Great Cash Flows, low Cap Ex. Grew Reneues and EPS roughly at 10x in 10 year with only ~2x share count increase. Something good is happening here. However, on P/E basis, it is really expensive.

With Gross Margin at 80% and 20% Net Margin I don't understand why ROE is so low (<10%).

Balance sheet is fine with very little debt. Digitizing conservative industry (real-estate), which appears to have good long term growth opportunities.

Is that a US version of Altus Group? What do you think of the Name?

Q: Good morning,
I just completed my annual portfolio review to identify potential tax loss harvesting candidates for the 2020 tax year and given that both KEY and ENB are both underwater, I am considering the option of selling both stocks and repurchasing them in 30 days.
My first question is which stock, stocks or ETF would you recommend I purchase to replace KEY and ENB for the next 30 days before repurchasing both KEY and ENB if that is indeed my best course of action.
My second question is whether or not these two pipeline stocks continue to have a place in an income generating non registered account portfolio or should I simply replace them now with some other income generating stock and if so which one or two stocks would you recommend.
I thank you in advance and look forward to hearing your response.

Q: Hello, I have a 2 part question:
1> I currently own a 5% position in LSPD and 2% position in KXS, ENGH SHOP. and QSR . which one(s) would you sell now as a vaccine will emerge soon? and which one(s) keep long term.
2> Could you provide 3-4 names of Value stocks that pay a dividend, and that will benefit when the economy re-opens. And, will benefit from inflation.
Thanks for your great service

Q: Thank you so much for your recommendation on WYNN, GC, BKNG, LUV. They went up a lot.
I still have some cash that I would like to invest.
Are there any stocks that are still undervalued even after recent vaccine news? Or should I just wait for them to dip again? Thanks!

Q: Hello again 5i,

Just a follow up to my previous question yesterday, regarding monthly payout etf's above 4%. Could you list for me a collection of Blue Chip equities that payout dividends above 4% each month of the year, January through December? Preferably Canadian equities?
Thanks again for your help.

Q: With your help from May2017 to now I am up 132%. Love your advice but tend to think it's aimed at young and middle aged people, which is probably most of your readers.
I am 71 and have Shopify which has done well for as have KL, Real and Brookfields to name a few. Have some cash and was wondering if you could give me some growth , yes I know the risk, that won't take 10 years to see action on.
