Q: Volkswagen- is this a sensible way to approach the EV manufacturers market? The P/E does look good compared to say, Tesla, which continues to scare me. I have positions in MG and ATA which I'm satisfied with and I don't want to reach into the fire but Volkswagen has been around a long time and I'm tempted. Your thoughts, please. All the best

iShares Global Healthcare Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XHC)
Q: I have reviewed these two ETF for Healthcare sector allocation using CDN funds and wonder what 5i’s preference would be between the two and why your preference. My Healthcare sector currently is made up with small caps GUD and WELL and the 13% or so of VFV and VIG ETFs
Q: On a previous question, TD announced Friday that these preferred will be redeemed. Likely for any preferred with high Minimum reset, so do not count too much on them if rates stay low. No mention of a possible conversion.

Q: hello 5i:
Owning "best of breed" or "best in class" is always factored into decisions in purchasing shares. Having held PANW for a number of years, and happy with results, I nevertheless wonder if selling and buying CRWD in its place, would be a strategy you'd see as beneficial. Discussion on the pros/cons would be helpful.

Q: Hi 5i
A question was recently asked concerning the "return of capital" required to support the high distributions of FHI.
What percentage is required for HHl,and LIFE ?
What is long term net effect of "return of capital" on the share price of these funds? Does it continue to fall?
Does it ever get to a point where all or most "capital" has been returned ?
Just looking for very general understanding if return of capital is good or bad.... or maybe not an issue?
Thx
Jim

Q: Hi,
Seems like since they have decided to drop the acquisition of that UK company, DND is cash flush with the financing they did not to long ago at $50.50 per share. The stock has since been trading well below that level. I was surprised when they stated an increase to their credit facility to $700 million, today. The company now has Capital of a billion dollars. I cant see any other reason for a company to be sitting on a billion dollars via financings other than if they have some massive acquisitions in the pipeline. May i get your take ? Thanks,

Q: As the price of REAL drops would you consider this factor putting the company in play for a takeover? I am thinking of starting to buy into a position now that it is low fourteens and would like to hear your thoughts. This is a profitable debt free company which nobody seems to like and is priced like it has low growth future. Generally I do not bottom feed but I am intrigued.
