Q: I am looking for an investment opportunity in a healthcare company along the lines of WELL, DOC but at an earlier stage of development (i.e. share price has not yet run). Looking at SHG and welcome any other suggestions.

Q: I noticed that most gold stocks are off their 52 week high, while other materials stocks have made new highs. With the price of gold still high, have gold stocks been negatively impacted by the rally in bitcoin?

Q: With the streaming boom and OTT advertising hype, is SEAC on your radar at all? recent news Dec 21 expanding platform seemed to be interesting... very risky of course.
Also noticed some new growth names coming up specifically MITK and TT, can you expand on why these are perking your interest?

Q: I want to purchase one of the above stocks for this years TFSA. Could you rank based on upside out a couple years.

Q: I was reading something from Paul Merriman where he recommends allocating a portion of your portfolio to a small cap value fund, particularly for investors with very long time horizons as he claims that historically this is one of the best performing categories over long periods. How do you feel about this strategy? I was considering either IWN or VTWV. Do you have a preference between these two and can you suggest a similar ETF for international (non US) small cap value?
Q: Hi
Based on the success of CSU, would Topicus be a good pick for a TFSA account when it starts trading next month?
Thank you
Sincerely
Mike

Q: What do you make of Firm Capital Property Trust? They raise their dividend and recently have had a good quarter: “NOI for the nine months ended September 30, 2020 was approximately $21.4 million, a 32% increase over the $16.2 million reported for the nine months ended September 30, 2019.”
Most of their tenants are Grocery, Pharmacy or essential services. They also own interests in residential and industrial properties.
Thank-you.

Q: Happy New Year to the 5i team.
I was hoping to get some feedback about how about to allocate about 11% of my total portfolio that is otherwise well-balanced and is made up of a mixture of Canadian dividend and large-cap stocks, and US and international ETF's.
These purchases will be in my TFSA and I am seeking greatest total return for the next 5-10 years. I am not afraid of risk but am also looking at sound investments rather than speculative purchases or quick trades.
I currently own GH, ISRG, LSPD and XBC and would like to add 4-5 more names. On my short list are the following: CRWD, MITK, ROKU, TTD, TT, U, VEEV and XYL.
Are there any from that list that you think match up well with my existing stocks? Alternatively, if you think there are better names that I haven't mentioned please advise.
Thanks in advance for all the great work you do,
Rory

Q: I have a fairly large holding of FIE. I like the large dividend and considering adding more to my position. What is your opinion about the sustainability of dividends for this ETF? Do you have any other high dividend stock/ETF you can suggest? This is for my TFSA.
Q: I was going to add some more BAM on this recent pullback but I noticed that you categorize it as falling within the "financials" sector. I'm already overweight financials so that gave me pause. But it strikes me that BAM is more infrastructure/industrial/real estate, no?
Thanks
Robert

Q: What is your opinion of magna and its potential for growth. Would you be a buyer at its current price.
Q: Hi,
Probably a newbie question, however if I don't ask I will never know :)
Can VLB be considered like an hedge against VSB?
My fixed income portion needs to be higher and I currently own vsb.
Or would it be wiser to simply buy something like VAB instead of the other two?
Thanks

Q: What are your top us and canadian stock picks for growth that you would buy today.
Q: Hi, Nuvei took a hit Wednesday morning, I understand, in line with downward pressure on Big Tech, with Democrats win in Georgia senate. This company appears to be a favorite with 5i, based on your recent comments as well as the payment space, it operates. I think, it was also mentioned in one of the answers that Nuvei has a niche in sports and gaming payment settlements space. I noticed some news this morning which helped sports betting stocks like Draftking etc, jump 3-5%. Will this be beneficial to Nuvei ? I bought a small 0.5% position, today and still considering to bring it up to 1-1.5%. Thank You
Q: Hi, Shopify has puled back to $1375. You had indicated that it has support around $1350 - $1400 level. Is it reasonably safe to add to an existing position around here ( Recent high $1650 ), or wait for further decline in price? Thanks
Q: Hi team - what do you think are the biggest advantages/strategies that individual DIY investors can use compared to the larger institutional investors? For example, I would imagine companies traded on the TSXV aren't followed as closely by the larger funds (I believe I read that here). Thanks in advance
Q: With recently pull back, do you think it's a good opportunity to step in? What's your long term view and target price for the company (>5 years)?
Thank you,
Thank you,
Q: The market is way up, but BIPC is way down and I can't figure out a reason. This is not one of those stocks that goes up or down 5-6% in a day.
