Q: After TH ore-announced, they immediately announced a bought deal at a discount to market. It doesn’t appear that they are imminent need of cash, so I’m curious why they wouldn’t wait for a higher price if they felt their shares were under valued. I’d be curious your thoughts on this. Is it ever necessary to do a deal like this to increase market awareness? Thanks.

Q: Good morning, can you please comment on the quarterly earnings and results for both of these companies announced yesterday. Thanks for all the excellent guidance to date!
Q: Hi,
I own Parex and I saw that earlier this week they announced share repurchases of another 10% of their float in addition to the 10% purchased last year.
What do you think of share repurchases instead of instituting a dividend? Which do you prefer? Are share repurchases a good use of capital?
Thanks,
Jason

Q: I can't say I expected the green industrial stocks to do so well so quickly. I mean, I'm happy and all but it's all moved so fast. And I must say that with the urgency I feel we need to deal with climate change I'm glad that the market seems to agree with me (finally - and perhaps only temporarily?!).
Can you provide a short list of Canadian and US companies that would fit into the general green industrial/energy space? I own most of the above, but am looking for something I may have missed. I don't own any US companies in the space.
Thanks

Q: With regard to the question about not being able to log in to TD WebBroker, here are two things to try. The first has worked for me. The second is worth trying.
Log in to EasyWeb, then switch over to WebBroker by clicking on an investment account. Log in on your phone using the mobile app. It may be that the inability to log in to WebBroker is due to a DDOS attack on the WebBroker log in, not that the entire system is down, and the banking and mobile log ins are not being hit. As a last resort you could phone them, but given the response time these days, that may be equally frustrating.

Q: Hi Peter and team,
I'm overweight tech and underweight the US and international by a lot.
I hold XAW at roughly 20% in my RRSP.
Currently have 13k in cash and will have another 15k once PEO shares get tendered in a LIRA account.
Can you recommend an ETF or two that can address both my problems. One that has zero to very minimal tech exposure, no canadian exposure. Preferably trading on the TSX.
Thanks,
Rino

Q: This company has had a good run this year. Does this have any legs or is the run up, just following the sector? Thanks

Q: What is your early impression of Mindbeacon? Sounds like they are in the right space, but do they have a good management team, and a business model with potential for big cash flow?? Would they be a good bolt-on acquisition some day for one of the more integrated telemedicine companies?
Q: Hello 5RI,
West Fraser Timber keeps going down. I cannot find any news. Do you have any news that might account for this weakness with lumber prices so high? Would you buy at this stock here?
Thanks so much. Cheers

Q: With the lockdowns looks like more bad news for reits. At this point would you continue to hold them or sell? I have Riocan and HR and am down about 30%. Are either worth holding on to?

Q: In response to a recent question from Alan regarding what you felt the BEPC over BEP.UN price premium should be you said "We think 10% to 12%"
What about the premium for BIPC over BIP.UN? Do you think it should also be 10 to 12%? BIPC is currently trading approx $11 or 32% over BIP.UN.

Q: Hello Peter,
I hope this does not reduce my credits as it is a general question which i am sure other members would appreciate having an answer... I find overall the TD webbroker has many issues where one cannot log in at times. Today, it has been down a good part of the morning.. What avenues do investors have as we could be losing a substantial sum if we want to sell or buy stocks and the site is down at times.. There has to be some accountability for trading platforms. If these are not the type of questions relevant for this site, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
