Q: Looking to establish a portfolio of higher yield equities. What are your thoughts on the above ETFs as part of the portfolio and which would be a preference if choosing only one? Have just started building recently with 1/2 positions in each of POW, PPL and BCE so far. Expect to hold 7-10 positions in total.

Q: I have nearly 200% gains in PANW, with losses to offset, so no tax issues. Wanted to know what you thought of selling PANW and buying CRWD with a 3-5 year time horizon and growth as the objective. Brief reasoning would be appreciated. Thx, John
Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
Well continues to drift lower daily. Today it actually ended even (maybe due to the Scotia interview). I see their business mix as both benefiting from the secular tech tailwind and cyclical reopening tailwind.
Today the stock dipped below $7. This is almost 29% lower than the upsized equity offering. Couple questions:
1). How does this effect those large investors that are “holding the bag”? Could the upsizing be at risk?
2) How low can this company continue to drift? At what point if any are you saying this is insane and buy more?
Thank you.

Q: I'm having trouble locating your last Report on Telus. Would you direct me please.
And would you comment on the present price of Telus being an opportune point of acquisition vis a vis Rogers and Shaw's current dance.

Q: In what circumstances should an investor hold a REIT ETF? Does it make sense to hold an income stream such as this in an RRSP that you are looking to grow long term?
- H&R Real Estate Investment Trust (HR.UN)
- Artis Real Estate Investment Trust (AX.UN)
- Tricon Residential Inc. (TCN)
Q: I have found that my Canadian listed REITS that held US real estate have done rather well. and have been absorbed by larger US entities. May I please have your top 3 or 4 REITS that are listed in Canada and that hold US properties?
With appreciation,
Ed

I'm looking at XAW for US and International exposure in my TFSA account. Retired income investor for 8 to 10 year hold. Can I get your opinion on this ETF or if you can recommend some other names.
Thanks

Q: Your thoughts on today's Park Lawn earnings report? You can answer after the conference call if you want. The press release looked pretty good to me, but you're the pro.
OK to add to bring PLC up to a full position? Retired, dividend-income investor.
Thanks...Steve

Q: Hi 5i,
You have mentioned that "Anything 'growthy' and on the smaller side has been unloved for the last one to two months." So the Hi Tech stock seem to be the worst sector now. Do you think the tech sector is over? How many months or years will the tech stocks come back by your experiences. I have no income, but can still survive for 2 years.

Q: Opinion on Affirm so far since the IPO? I started a small position and am down 20% and wondering if you see a bottom, or price to take a full position?
Thanks

Q: Hello Folks:
It appears technology stocks are moving opposite direction to industrials such as Deere, Caterpillar, Cummins etc. which have been very quiet for a number of years.
Is this a normal situation?
Does this mean there is more confidence in this sector and less in technology; or is it because technology has been the go to in times of uncertainty; although I would think these Covid times would have produced more uncertainty with the opposite effect.
Do you feel this trend will continue empowering industrials at the expense of technology such as Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google etc.
My specific question is re: Veeva (on a steady downturn) and how you view it's long term prospects.
Thanks for your good work
brian

Q: I know both of these companies are owned by people answering questions. Both companies have similar potential for upside based on analysts. Which has better potential, less competition and a wider moat.
Thanks
Matthew
Thanks

Q: Is it normal for a 3B market cap company to be on the Venture Exchange?
Why would they list it on the Venture to start? Could TOI not be listed on the TSX to start. I just find the move interesting and was interested in your perspective.
