Q: Good morning,
I see "Sprott Physical Gold and Silver Trust Updates Its 'At-The-Market' Equity Program" and may issue up to one billion dollars of new units. If I understand this correctly, Sprott will issue new units at the market price. So say gold and or silver go up, Sprott will issue new units, does this not stop the price of CEF from participating in the price rise of the metals and they issue new units and therefore reduce the demand from the market for units currently available and cap the price rise? If one wants to participate in the rise in gold and or silver appreciation it seems to me CEF is therefore not the way to do it.
Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i,
Love sac ,(USA company) ticker symbol. LOVE- does not appear in your data base.
Company reported earnings and stock is down -10%.
What is your opinion on this stock, its earning and prospects going forward?
Is this a stock you would be interested in at this point and if so, in your opinion what would be decent entry price point?
Thx
jim

Q: Good day, just checking in on a couple small cap recommendations from 5i. What did you think of Hyde’s recent quarter and outlook? Are you still comfortable with Tronox and Redfin? Thx as always for your advice.
Q: Hi, I noticed there are no REITs or real estate holdings in your model portfolios. Please comment on this.
Thanks - Jeff.
Thanks - Jeff.
Q: Good day, 5i. I just read your note about Madison Investments and I'm not sure what to take away from it. The funds appear to be highly diversified (30 top holdings only make up 40% of Public Investments), far more so than the level typically recommended by 5i (roughly 30 total). Is that the point?
Q: I currently have Manulife in my RRSP account, I am thinking of replacing it with Sylogist for a little more growth. I have no Tech stocks in my account but do have TD and BNS. Can I have your opinion on whether the switch makes sense. I appreciate your advice.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I still have $60,000 in a mutual fund with Canada Life with an MER of 3% ($1800) that i want to transfer out to my group pension that has much lower fees. The mutual fund still has a DSC of $1200 until the Maturity date of December 2021. How or when is the MER paid out? Is it more beneficial to me to transfer out now or to wait until the December date, (are there other factors to consider?)? thank you
Q: What is your opinion on Evolution Gaming? It is the the top holding in one of David Fingold's funds which leads me to believe this company may have excellent growth potential if not already baked into the price today. Your analysis please.
Q: What is your opinion on taking a position in silver? Can you recommend a company?
Q: Ithoughts on demo day , thanks
- Teladoc Health Inc. (TDOC)
- Plug Power Inc. (PLUG)
- Xebec Adsorption Inc. (XBC)
- WELL Health Technologies Corp. (WELL)
Q: I have two holdings that are not acting as I had hoped and am looking for your advice on replacing them. I'm thinking of replacing WELL with TDOC and XBC with PLUG. According to PA I'm low on US exposure as well so that is part of my idea. I'd appreciate your thoughts on both of these trades or if you have a better suggestion I'm open to ideas. I'm retired with a moderate risk profile and looking for some growth.
Q: Hi Guys
In regard to Tricon obviously most of the homes they bought in the USA after the 2008 crisis have gone up significantly in value. On Tricon's balance sheet would the original cost be reflected or what they are now all worth? Just trying to get an idea of possible upside in terms of book value. Also in regard to Tricon it seems over the years management have bumped around a bit in terms of what the company focuses on in terms of real estate investments. Do you think going forward they have found a focus that should deliver results? Also in comparison to the Industrial REIT's, like Dream or Summit, how would you rate Tricon - better or worse value and upside?
Thanks so much
Stuart

Q: I’m considering the addition of LNF, SLF, and EIF to RRSP. Would you recommend buying them at the current levels for 3 years?
Thank you very much for your advice.
