Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I've held CPG since 2012 where I bought it at 40 (don't know why I held on this long) and am now almost at my adjusted cost of 5.98. If I hit this target would you suggest selling and put the money elsewhere or holding on a bit longer, I don't think its going to get to 8 or 10 bucks (or am I wrong) because of the SU deal. I would hate to ride it back down if oil sells off. Thanks, as always you guys are a great help.

Q: Your most recent answers to questions about HR.UN and REI.UN indicate that you don't favour them and that they do not need to be owned, suggesting DIR.UN instead, among others. So a few days ago I replaced HR.UN with DIR.UN, and ever since, both
REI and HR have been shooting up while DIR languishes. Today alone they are up over 5% and 4% respectively. Can you explain what's happening here?

Q: Could you list a few companies (in Canada/ U.S.A) from each sector that may benefit if inflation catches hold and supercedes target rates set by their central banks?

Q: I recently borrowed from my HELOC to top up our TFSAs. I'm thinking of potentially keeping it simple and going TEC + XAW (40/60 split). This would give me quite a bit of US exposure but thought of bumping up US exposure. Would it make sense to instead buy VUN + VIU + VEE in a 70/23/7 split instead of XAW which has a lower US allocation? Do you think US equities will continue to outperform world over 10+ year horizon?

Also thinking instead of the 40% allocation in TEC, should I take a small position in ARKK or other ARK funds? Maybe 30% TEC, 10% ARKK? I feel like many of the names in ARKK fund are priced to perfection. Thanks

Q: Retired, dividend-income investor who trims and adds around mostly full 4-5% positions. I own AQN, FTS. With the drop, due to Texas among other factors, how much is already baked into their stock positions? I am ready to top up Fortis now that it has dropped to < $50. What does your crystal ball say? Add or wait a little longer? I know it is a timing question. I just didn't want to jump in and catch a falling knife if you thought their might be a bit more downside.

Thanks...Steve

Q: What are your thoughts on BAYTEX ENERGY (BTE) at current prices and going forward? Year end results were released Feb 24, 2021, and it appears as though there were no production surprises, and they have partially hedged their 2021 production with price protection at $45 with upside to 52/bbl. Do you have a price target at current prices? What if we see sustained oil prices at $60-65 or even further bullish (some calling for $80+). Are their names 5i prefers in its place, or are you satisfied with a HOLD on this going forward?

Q: Hello,
I have new money to allocate. Which ones of these are your favorites for 5 year + hold notwithstanding they have different risk profile and in different sectors (best overall risk / reward. I am underweight small cap). I already own KXS and ENGH but i could add to existing positions. Thank you!
