Q: I found a stock certificate for BDX dated April 11, 1973. How can I find out if it is still outstanding? (I used to work for them.)

Q: Hi 5i team,
In your last updated report on Spin Master (TOY) you had indicated....OCT 13, 2020 - The company still shows long-term promise but management has missed on estimates more frequently than we would like. Meanwhile, margins have been deteriorating over the last two years. Rating downgraded to 'B'.
At that time you had downgraded the stock.
Have the margins improved over the last several quarters since this report to change/improve your view? Was there any management change since then to improve things, ie less missed forecasts?
There are some potential catalysts upcoming (Paw Patrol movie release, holiday season shopping, some toy news articles are pegging Peek-a Roo as the 'It' toy to buy this year (similar to Hatchimals toy of the year), etc,).
Could this be enough to get this stock back to its' glory days coupled with improving margins? Is the stock fairly valued these days or on the cheaper side?
(Motley Fool site has been mentioning this stock several times in the last month.)
I held this stock a few years ago and did well with it. Perhaps time to buy again?
Cheers,
Steve

Q: While I am partial to PYPL, I would like a second opinion from you on these fintechs. Please rank them as the most suitable one for a buy and hold for a long term in a RESP account. Thanks.
Q: Seems like a turnaround at Wildbrain with the earnings out last night. Still a lot of debt but reducing. Lots of streaming on Netflix, Apple TV. Conference in October in New York. Stock is up this morning. I know they were for sale a few years ago with no buyers, but it appears to be a little different story right now. Disney poached the VP of animation? Do you see the possibility of a sale on the horizon from netflix, apple, disney or some other streaming company?
Q: Are Thinkific and Docebo competitors? I understand what Docebo does but I am not sure Thinkific does exactly the same thing.

Q: Hi 5iresearch team
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being certainly, how likely do you think a stagflation scenario will happen in the US economy?
Second question, what types of investment will likely win in stagflation (gold, certain stocks, bonds, real estate, cash … etc)?
Third question: can you recommend 3 Cdn and 3 US stocks that you think will do well in stagflation? Can you please rank them if possible?
Thank you for your great service, I really enjoy reading your answers everyday in the Q&A section.

Q: Between finx arkf, Ipay, and tray, in your view which one would have the better global reach?

Protech Home Medical Corp. (PTQ)

GDI Integrated Facility Services Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (GDI)
Q: I am trying to grow a small position in GDI and have two options. As I add funds over the coming months I can just average in, or I could sell my position in QIPT and get a larger position right away.
I know the stocks aren't comparable, but what would your thoughts be on this move? I think QIPT has decent growth prospects but one thing this move would do is take remove some risk (from small-cap to GDI market cap over 1 billion. Thanks for your thoughts.

Q: I have been holding both GIB.A and OTEX for years. They are slow growth amount the tech sect. I would like to increase my growth and wonder if I drop one and replace it with more growth name. Which one would you suggest to drop and replace with ?. Your guidance on this matter is much appreciated. Thanks.
Q: I've held VEEV for a while and it seems to be stalled. Time to move on? If yes, would you recommend shifting the funds to bring ATZ up to 4%? Alternatively, is there another company in the health sector you would recommend in VEEV's stead? Medium-risk investor.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Owning stocks is by nature an intangible asset. In the event, of lets say, a black swan event such as a cyber threat world wide and all our intangible assets are basically in digital form (as opposed to physical and tangible) what, if anything can an individual owning stocks do, if anything, to make that asset more tangible? I assume the stocks in all your model portfolios have been suggested because of they have been deemed higher rated companies, those more likely to survive any temporary stock market crash. But can we make owning them more tangible or are we fully at the mercy of the Internet?
Q: Hi,
I initiated small positions in EGLX and MRS a while back. Down 32% and 53% respectively so the small position is even smaller. Should I just be patient with these two? Or move the MRS portion to EGLX? Or vice versa? Or even getting out of them altogether and putting the funds in another name?
They are in my TFSA so no tax implications.
Thanks

Q: Why has the stock price of DOC dropped so dramatically from July 5, 2021 at 2.32 down to current 1.60?
Q: In my previous question answered today I was asking for suggestions for techs AND Industrials to add to for proper divesification. Unfortunately the Industrials was not answered. Thank you.

Does that mean that we should avoid buying bonds at this moment? And for the near future?
Thank you for your answer.
The SECOND part of my question was:
Should we avoid buying bond ETF at this moment?
