Q: Could you recommend Canadian and US consumer staple ETFs? Are any of the holdings in the model portfolio consumer staples? What percentage of one’s portfolio would you allocate to consumer staples?
Thanks for all your help

Q: I'm well represented with banks, tech, and energy. Other than TFII, I own no industry. I want to own 3 of either WS, GDI, TIH, MG, CAR, or CP for the long term, looking for some growth, some dividends and not too much volatility. Which 3 do you suggest and why?

Q: With the market rotation, I have seen a number of questions from people who are down 30-50% on some stocks asking if they should switch out. What guidance can you provide regarding the best tactic when highly volatile small-mid cap growth stocks turn downwards. Putting in a stop loss of -15% may get you stopped out of promising but volatile stocks. Holding until you are down 30-50% leaves you looking at a 50-100% recovery to break even. Hard to feel positive about this scenario even with a 3-5 year outlook.....

Q: This is a confusing time as I watch equities in the growth and value camps move up and down depending on the news of of the day. Seems to be related to the threat of inflation and the Fed's reaction to it. Which US/Global companies/ETFs would you suggest I buy in both VALUE and GROWTH camps to give me a balanced exposure to this dilemma? If possible 5 suggestions in each area would be helpful. As always, thanks for the guidance.

Q: I hold some AQN now and was looking to diversify by adding EMA. Is there enough of a difference to matter, and what do you think about using these two as a core utilities position in an account focused on dividend income?
Thanks for your recent input on SFC- it was beneficial in my decision process and proves the merits of your service to me!

Q: Is Merk unjustifiably cheap or is it a value trap? Which of MRK, JNJ, MDT (or other suggestion) would you recommend as a buy and forget cornerstone healthcare holding for someone looking for long term capital appreciation and dividend growth. My only other healthcare position is ABBV. Please also explain the rationale. Thank you!

Q: Hi,

AirBNB is even lower than the IPO price now. What do you think of this company? Why the COVID is almost gone, but now dropped to the lowest price? Do you think the concept is over and go back to fundemental? Should I consider it is just a hotel stock? How can I tell the reasonable price to get in? Many thanks

Q: I have held this healthcare ETF for a couple years, and added some more in the market mayhem last year. It pays a healthy dividend and I have some capital gains. Relative to the fund's market cap my shares are of course insignificant, however, it seems to be a light trader and I have noticed that on several days my holdings exceed the daily trading volume. Should I be concerned about this? Would it make any sense to sell part or all and move the funds into a similar ETF like HHL (or any others you might suggest)?
Thank-you
