Q: Hi 5i,

Thanks for your fast response. Now I understand BB become one of the MEME stocks, so it will expect short-squeeze due to the short-lived. In your opinion, do you think it can drive away market manipulators? Do you think it is healthy? If I were those "big predators", I will never touch BB in the further. In this situation who will win?

Q: Hello 5i,
Would you please set the record straight about wether the Canadian gov. loaned "billions" to our solid Canadian banks during the 2008 financial meltdown.Did the OFSI restrict our banks from raising their dividends and to buy back theirs shares? If the gov.was involved in lending $$$ to the banks it would have been made public and I never heard of such measures.
Many thanks,
Jean

Q: I own XEI, ALA, and TOUr but little oil.

I'm hoping to buy base metals and oil in an CDN etf. Do you think this is a good idea and what would you recommend?

Q: I need more fixed income in my RRSP portfolio and my son's RESP. I bought bond funds (VSC, XBB, XRB) but they can (and have) lost money, so I struggle to see how they help me with safety. Am I better off to just buy GICs or stay in cash? Should I hang onto the bond funds I have already?

Q: I hold these in my TFSA. Do you think this is the best type of account to hold these in? Also, do you feel that these would be higher risk stocks compared to the general market as there seems to be a real estate bubble and would these come down exponentially more if / when there is a correction?
Thanks.
