Q: Thank you for your reply regarding my question on what to watch for in terms of a return to paying dividends by these two companies. There does not appear be a "Cash Flow" or "Free Cash Flow" item among the Key Data status provided for these companies. I do see a Price to Cash Flow and Price to Free Cash Flow but I'm not sure how to interpret these data points in terms of continued paying a dividend or, in the case these companies, a return to paying dividends. If Cash Flow is a key to payment of dividends is there any chance Cash Flow can be added to the data to all those dividend paying companies listed?

Q: Are there any catalyst, or catalysts, in insight to lift the renewable energy stocks out of their 2021 humdrum? Names in this sector are all down YTD from BEPC's highest of 33% to RWN's lowest of 7% - with no exception. Would you recommend a name in this group that would have the likeliest chance for a quick rebound / turnaround? Thanks.

Q: Peter,

What research source or service would provide a full listing of Cdn pref shares including credit rating, type of preferred, dividend plus any redemption terms? Sedar is too cumbersome for this.

Thanks

Paul

Q: Seems like a large negative reaction of gold/silver/platinum prices to the Fed meeting. What's your opinion on outlook for precious metals given the Fed's comments?

Q: Hi
Please note PPL is not available in the short search. It was required to add :ca to bring it up.

Would you please expand on your comment earlier about Brookfield wining the bid for IPL? Was this just because the bid is out there or do you have an opinion.

In my position Brookfield deal is a big loss due to taxation(25% capital gains hit) as well as the benefit of holding PPL shares ( dividend, growth, Heartland participation, PPL Reputation) The share price of IPL is now tracking PPL (0.5 x $41.40 = $20.70) and is way above the Brookfield offer($19.50 Maybe? or some kind of shares?).

Brookfield offer is no longer financially better than PPL offer.

Is there something else in this?
Dave

Q: Gold is supposed to do better in an inflationary environment, which we seem to be getting but it also does worse when rates are rising, like now. An enigma!! Who wins here? Thanks

Q: My wife owns a company that started using Monday.com last year. I hear her rave about it all the time. I even heard her say she would pay double the fees charged it is so useful. I told her I would buy some stock if it ever went public and here we are... You said its expensive based on the current valuation. Can you please elaborate compared to the competition? The stock shot up and I don't want to get caught in the excitement and overpay. Thanks
