Q: Hi,
What is the view on Europe. I have ZWP for long and want to move to HXX to get the upside . Is there any better option for playing European recovery .

Q: Hi guys.
Not a question, more a suggestion.
Just read the article on NBLY and found it very comprehensive and informative and I thank you for that.
After reading your article, the name of the company sounded familiar and I checked my email to see where from.
On May 13 I received an email from iTrade letting me know that the issue was coming and they were looking for Indications of Interest.
Please don't take this wrong , but it would have been so nice to have had your write up earlier so we could have taken advantage of the new issue offering.
Of course timing would only be valuable if the IPO comes out at a premium and stays there, but reading your write up it sounds like it will.
Best
Sheldon

Q: Good morning all. I currently have a 1/3rd position in LEV and a 2/3rd position in NFI. I see these stocks as complimentary of each other. However I am considering either eliminating or reducing my stake in NFI in favor of LEV. Considering history and experience of NFI vs opportunity and rapid deployment for LEV (and only one quarter on record) would you consider this a good move or just a speculative move at this point?
Q: with regards to historical valuations id engh cheap or fairly valued? Thx

Q: I'm wondering if you could recommend a free watchlist (stock) tracker. I've used Globeinvestor for years but now they've limited its use without a paid substription.
Thanks as always.

Q: Would holding GUD be close to the equivalent of holding cash right now? I understand it’s a security and nothing is 100% safe but when I look at the cash in hand along with Goodman’s shares (which I assume he’s in no rush to sell) it’s probably around the current price per share. Would you see this as a viable alternative to a piece of the cash portion of a portfolio with nice potential upside long term? Thanks as always for this service!
Q: Would you pls suggest a gold related company - ie producer , royalty co,. etc. - with medium risk and reasonable political risk Dividend not important Thanks
Q: Considering adding a small position in my RRSP of FIH. I thought with all the bad news coming out of India this might be on sale, but price action appears to be hanging in on the high side. This would appear to bode well for when India gets Covid under control, thus making it attractive going forward. Your opinion and analysis please.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Q: I am concerned regarding Mr Vounassis background at Bombardier. Given that Bombardier has been the worst performing stock in history and an ultimate example of corporate welfare, it is not a good name to have on a resume.
Also, sometimes applying methodology from large corporations to smaller companies does not work so well.
I hold some XBC and will continue holding but I have concerns.
Your comments please

Q: I find it odd that bought deal was just done at $13 and today the shares are trading lower. Is this "normal" . Thanks John
Q: Hi, I'm wondering if you might be able to offer me any insight into Goldman Sachs Business Development Corp Inc (GSBD:US)? When I look it up on TMX.COM there is an indication that it is trading at a price earnings multiple of only 3.6, that it has earnings of $5.43 per share (which I assume is for the past year), it pays a quarterly dividend of $0.45 and is currently in the midst of paying several additional special dividends of $0.05 per share and that its current yield is over 9%. With those earnings per share the dividend looks to me to be highly sustainable. I'm wondering why it might be trading at such a low P/E multiple? Is there something highly risky about the source of the firm's earnings or some other aspect of its business? Thank you!
