Q: Currently our portfolio is 15% too high in Canadian stocks and ETFs and am
needing to add to International I would appreciate 3 stocks or an ETF that would be the highest on your ratings. Thanks!

Q: You are in a stock picking contest against a fellow investor named Joe. The contest is to pick 10 Canadian stocks that you must hold for 5 years. No trading. The winner will be the portfolio that has the highest total return including dividends over the 5 year period. Joe is somewhat conservative, so he likes to stick with large companies. He has selected ATD.B, BAM.A, CNR, CSU, RY, SHOP, SLF, T, TD, WSP as his 10 stock portfolio. What 10 Canadian stocks would you select to try to win the contest?

Q: My wife has full positions of BMO, ENB, LIF, POW and RSI in her RRIF. She has some cash to deploy, looking for quality income stocks with decent dividend yields. Would you have any suggestions?

Thank you!

Q: Hi Peter
I sold FFH at 550 at around mid May for a small gain
it has now slowly declined to 510
I am aware that it is not a stock alot of people like, pays a small dividend
any fundamental /technical reasons of the decline from 550 to 510 in about 10
weeks time? I am considering of starting a partial position
and hope for a 10% gain for trade (hold for at least over 6 months)

thanks
Michael

Q: I'm reviewing KXS today as it is a part of my portfolio. The feeling I've had in the last year, and stronger after looking today, is that KXS is a moderate revenue grower (up to 20% year over year recently and forecasted), but still valued comparible to high-fliers growing at 50+%. Based on the forecasted revenue growth, is the 20x sales multiple justified? It seems like a solid company and no debt issues, so this is simply a question on valuation. PEG is also very high. What am I missing, given that you know the company better than I, and the market right now is obviously seeing value that I'm not. I'd like to make a decision on this one before the next earnings come out in August.
