Q: These companies are getting killed on no news. I understand the environment with tax loss, covid, backdrop etc. What I don't understand is why the shorts aren't covering or appear to be. Also are these companies prime candidate's for a takeover because there smaller but at an inception point of eating up market share.

Q: Interested in the difference amongst this companies and which one you'd prefer.
Q: Good morning,
This ETF has seen a significant drop from its 52 week high and although I still value most of the companies held in this ETF (Visa, Mastercard, Square & PayPal) to name a few, do you see this ETF turning around anytime soon or is it time to lock in small profits. Thanks.

Q: Dear 5i,
These questions are regarding NNRG ETF and it's many fees.
Is the management fee 1.5%?
What is the MER?
Is there a performance fee of 10%?
If yes, is the performance fee levied daily?
Do you think one is better off buying CNQ which also
pays a generous dividend with no fees?
thanks

Q: I liked the high flyers when they were going up: not so much when they come down. I am way too old for the roller coaster ride. I am re jigging my portfolios to a conservative growth objective leaning more to larger cap names. Please give me 3 names in Canadian financials, industrials and energy listed in order of preference. Thank you.
Q: Hello, are you expecting any impact or issues on investors by the automatic conversion this week of ATD.B shares to ATD.A? Thanks, Aaron
Q: 2021 has been good to me overall but as always I have my regrets. I bought 2% weighting of BHP in Sept around 61 buck, mostly because I had little exposure to the sector. Do you think its gone too far to fast on it attempt to clean up its environmental footprint? Do you think the sell off has to do with tax loss selling or company issues? Finally would your view be favorable for next year or should I cut my losses. I thank you for years of good service and giving me an excellent source for sober second thoughts.
Q: RSI has had a nice gain since mid August. I am wondering what has caused the increase. Is it perhaps the reopening of restaurants or maybe inflation in the price of sugar?
Thanks for your insights.
Ian

Q: What are your large, medium and small energy top picks? Dividend payers preferred.
Do you see energy prices/shares falling in 2022, rising or leveling?
Thanks.

Q: I have just read your report on KXS with the rating maintained at B+. Just wondering what it would take to raise the rating to A?
I like the company but don't own it. If you looked into your crystal ball do you think the current world-wide supply chain problems will give the company's revenue a long term boost or is it more likely all the supply chain issues will be more or less fixed in the next 6 months causing revenue to falter by 3rd quarter 2022 (...and the stock to tank)? Another way of saying the same thing (but shorter)...is 15x sales too high!
Any comments would be appreciated.

Q: The entire renewable sector was down substantially in 2021, from BEP.UN's drop of 38% YTD to RNW's 14%. When will this sector come back to life? If it does what is your estimated timing of the rebound and which stock in this group will recover the most? Thanks.
Q: I am thinking of taking a position in CS. May I have your assessment of this company?. If you prefer another stock in this space, please advice. Thank you. Cheers
Q: Please rank Toi, dcbo and lspd and would you buy one or all three proportionately? Thanks

Q: Canadian Depository receipts - NEO
I have read the article in the Globe & Mail regarding Canadians ability to purchase factional shares of major us companies, similar to US adr's.
Question: If I purchase 200 shares of PFE what exactly do I get? and do I also participate in any dividends.
Are these a viable investment option
Can I have your opinion on CDR's

Q: I own XIT within both my RRSP and TFSA and I have done very well holding it. It is mostly (72%) made up of SHOP. CSU, GIB and OTEX.
Question #1 = It recently has dropped from the $59 level to around $51. Do you believe the current drop is overdone? My amateur eyes think the next support level is around $50. At what price would you consider adding?
Q#2 = Is the drop related to the potential for interest rate increases? When you look at the 4 main players, where do you think XIT is heading in both the short (< 1 year) and long term (3-5 years)?
Thanks for your help...Steve

Q: I am a long time holder of OTEX and it has been a slow but steady performer over the years. I am thinking of swapping it out to purchase more shares of CSU and TOI as i see good things to come for both in the next 5 years and I no longer need the dividend income from OTEX.
