Q: I hold LSPD in a TFSA and am planning to replace it with APPS. Would you suggest making the switch now...or waiting til tax selling is behind us in January? Thank you.

Q: Hi the great team, can you explain volatility of shopify?
Q: Hi 5i,
BMO had a nice run up in share price last couple of days and today has fallen and I was wondering if this could be negative reaction to this latest news:
"Canada's Bank of Montreal has expressed interest in buying French bank BNP Paribas SA's U.S. banking unit,"
Is this considered positive or negative and why?
Would this influence your decision to add or start new position?
Thx
Jim

Q: Can I get your perspective on KWE stock’s reaction to the announcement of two days ago - KWESST Signs Master Agreement with Global Defence Contractor. It has fallen 20%+. I would also appreciate your thoughts on the company overall. Thanks.
Q: Hi Team,
You had mentioned the expectation of potential "small cap bounce" scenerio in January. Does this usually happen within the first couple weeks in January or what's the history on that? Also, if one was to use some "lottery ticket" money to buy some call options on a high beta name due for a bounce...would AT (acuity ads) be one to look at with options expiry Jan.21? I realize this is not a typical strategy, more of a casino night play. If you don't like this move, do you have any other call options strategies you are spotting right now that if they work out would yield some big gains? If so please list the precise call option contract. Again, I know options are not usually discussed here or endorsed. Thanks
Shane.

Q: I would like to increase my industrial holdings, and wonder if you have a current favourite? (Canadian or US)
Q: I currently hold VEEV in my TFSA and have been disappointed in its performance. Would you replace it with ABBV? And if yes, would you do so now or in January?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Morning Team,

Thank you as always,
Happy Holiday,

Q: Peter; So yesterday (Dec 15) we had the big tech rally and then today wham it got hammered. What happened to reverse the momentum? Thanks. Rod
Q: Would you please explain why ECN is dishing all this money to shareholder and then turn around and then issue a debenture? Wouldn't it be better to use the money they are giving away rather than leveraging their balance sheet? Any indication what this money is going to be used for? Does this improve their growth potential?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i,
In your opinion is LSPD a falling knife that will gravely wound me if I catch it now and hold on for a couple of years and, if so, how much closer to the floor should one let it get before grabbing on? I guess, my question really is - if LSPD is not there now where is that floor, do you think?
Thanks for your thoughts.
Peter

Canadian Tire Corporation Limited (CTC)
Q: Performance of these two has been vastly different this year with the common up 54% and the A shares 8%. There was an event in early Nov. that caused the common to leap, what was it? As far as I know the A's have a coattail provision, a rumoured takeover causing shares to surge some years ago also. What is your outlook for this pair going forward?

Q: I have assembled a few names from the US exchanges that have had a tough few months and are likely experiencing some year end portfolio adjustments, ie, Tax Loss Selling. From the names I have here, can you identify two that you feel will have a better 2022, also curious if you might have an additional name for consideration. Thanks very much, happy holidays to you folks as well as all our 5i members

Q: I have a feeling there are still people selling LSPD now for the tax loss, meaning to buy it back in 30 days. It might work out for them but selling it now means having to wait until the middle of January to buy it back. I think the bounce will happen sooner than that and the people who really make the gain are the buyers picking it up at fire-sale prices right now? What do you think?
Q: Hello 5I.
I have a pretty well balanced portfolio and am currently a little overweight tech. That said I am torn on weather to take a loss on $Sq and buy something like $CRWD or $Apps as I want to keep the growth tech. I am down 20%. The tax write off is a small help but not the decision maker. With that is mind do you think $sq has more upside vs the other 2 listed? Would you recommend I just stay the course with $SQ?
Thanks

Q: I had been wanting to buy Enghouse Systems for a few months but since it’s highs of 77$ it has been steadily coming down. Now sitting at 48$ and reporting good earnings for Q4 do you think it would be a good buying opportunity or should I wait until 2022? If so what would be a good entry price.
Q: Do you think Corus is a takeover candidate due to its cheap value or is its debt a big deterrent for any potential suitor? I’m thinking a company like Netflix or Disney might be interested in the content and to a lesser degree BCE for it’s Crave service.
Q: Hi 5i,
Can you offer some comments on the recent selloff with ADBE?
Would you consider this a long term core holding?
What do you think of the current valuation today at $566.09 USD?
