Q: In a previous answer to the question "10 companies to hold for 20 years" your team selected BYD as one of 10 long term holds.

I'm curious, why you would choose BYD over MG?

Self-driving vehicles will soon be prolific and likely all electric powered, I can only imagine a dramatic decline in accidents, servicing and repairs and way fewer moving parts (internal combustion engines) to replace.

Seems like BYD is on the wrong side of innovation.

Q: A follow to the Cielo questions. The reason the shares tanked today was because of a conference call by the president the previous day indicating a delay in get the technology to work. And then today bob Mcwitter who previously excessively pump this stock twice on Bnn refused to take calls on Cielo. I find this very unethical and should not below allowed on BNN. What are you thoughts this seems extremely unethical.

Q: Hello 5i, I notice that comments are made as to the takeover of Interpipe IPL relating to both BIP and BIPC as the take over company's. What is the relationship of BIP and BIPC as to who really will own IPL now. Also which company BIP or BIPC would look better to invest in. I was a IPL share owner and submitted my shares for the cash option.

Q: In response to yesterdays "tapering" report, if one is looking to add liquidity in order to take advantage of a resulting market dip, would you consider selling existing positions that have done well in the recent market growth with the intention of buying back in at a low point? I know you often advise against trying to time the market but this seems like one of the few scenarios where it could be in ones interest?

Or would I simply be better off to leave my current positions alone (everything is slated for long term holds) and try to put aside as much cash as possible in the meantime while we wait for the opportunity to buy?

Thanks

Q: Can you comment on their earnings report yesterday? Did you listen to the call and if so was there anything of interest (good or bad) that came up?

I have to echo the thanks to you and your staff for the great service you provide. My portfolio and understanding of investing would not be where it is today without your help and fantastic service! So thank you very much to you and your team!

Q: Hi 5i,

Been watching DOO for a while but remained on sidelines etc. etc....I realize that DOO's large share price increase was related to recent earnings release, so ....with the recent run up in share price would you still be buyers of this stock for a new position--2-3 year hold? Why/why not?

Would you add to existing position? or would wait with expectation of a retrace?

Thx

Jim
