Q: A few months ago I became interested in ATKR after some favourable comments in the Q & A's. The financial matrices seem fairly positive and I took a position. Ouch. It began to decline and in 2 months the share price is now down about 33%. The weakness began well before the wreck of the last couple of weeks, and it did not participate in the recent small cap run or even pick up on the couple of days when there was a bounce in the markets. Out of all that, what is your current view on ATKR? If it were you, would you sell, given (this is a taxable account) or would you hold looking for a rebound (hope is not a strong investment strategy), and why? Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: Just read a very interesting artice by Tony Seba regarding his prediction of a humanoid disruption in the not too distant future where robots and AI repalce much of the labour market, starting with more basic functions and developing into more complex. He believes its not as far off as we may think. He believes this to be of critical importance for the success of countries moving forward. Thoughts on his theme? Which individual companies do you think may benefit from a prediction such as his, as well as are their ETFs which invest in a basket of such companies (both AI and robotic)?

Q: Hello, I own AQN in an RRSP account and would like to sell it. It will be a loss since I paid over 2 times what it is currently trading at.

I can sell it now or wait a few months. Does this stock typically increase during the fall as the seasons change? I am also wondering whether to wait for the next dividend payment. I understand that AQN may be selling off assets, presumably to raise cash, given it's high debt levels.

Any input on AQN would be helpful. Thank you.

Q: ECN capital got back to positive EPS in the last quarter (3 cents). The share price is breaking out today. Management is still guiding for 10 to 16 cents of EPS for the year. In the background is the chance to their partner in the manufactured home financing (triad) could do a take over of ecN (not a sufficient reason the buy on its own but another positive possibliity). And combining a good chance for lower interest rates which I believe would help ecN makes me want to add to my small position in ecN. What is you read on the earnings and do you concur that it is time to add to a ecN position?
