Q: Do you recommend a level of international exposure in a TFSA even though there is a withholding tax? Would the best strategy be to overweight international exposure in the RRSP and underweight in TFSA.

Q: What’s your guess behind the big move in the Nasdaq yesterday? Were you surprised with such a big pop in one trading session? With info leaking that Omnicron Variant is as bad as Delta, what’s your forecast for the remainder of the year and moving forward?

Q: With the conversion of ATD.B to ATD.A shares, would it be correct to assuming this share conversion would not result in 2021 capital gain? Alimentation Couche Tard news release did not indicate any tax consequences. Thank you.

Q: Fortitude Gold is a 2020 listing with a dividend, low P/E, and properties in the U.S. (i.e. as opposed to politically risky areas). Would you buy it? Which options in the gold space would you prefer? (Preferably low/no debt, strong B/S & dividend)

Q: Shop is being sued by publishers accusing them of textbook piracy. How much is this weighing on the stock price now and should it be much of a concern? It is troubling that this puts a bad light on SHOP since it is reported that this concern was brought up to SHOP several times in the past with SHOP basically ignoring it.

Q: Hello 5i team:
At this particular time, which ETF do you think worth buying? US based XLE or Canadian based XEG? Is there a ETF based on Europe or the rest of the world?
Will you underweight or overweight energy in one's portfolio? I know in the US energy doesn't play a big role. But in Canadian index, they do.
Thanks in advance.

Q: Hello, earlier this year I bought tesla at $590. I have watched it rapidly grow to what I believe overvalued. I set a 15% stop loss and I sold at $1045 I'm quite happy with this transaction. Do you think Im I wrong for getting out? Should I get back in? If I made the right move, can you recommend 2 stocks that I should look at? (Take as many credits for this.)
Q: What's your opinion on adding to Palantir at this time for the long term? I'm down about 10%
Q: I have a position in T I have been holding for years for the dividend which was cut with more cuts on the horizon.
I plan to sell and replace with Verizon. I am thinking T will drop further in December due to tax loss harvesting. With this in mind is it better to sell it now or wait until the new year.
