Q: I have LSPD, AT, EGLX, AEM, and WELL as my higher risk positions. I am looking to consolidate these positions and maybe add TOI or NVEI. Out of the 7 stocks and at current prices what would your 3-4 top picks be for growth and price appreciation?

Thank you!

Q: All the renewable stocks other than BEP.UN are getting beaten up today. Any news that I missed. Could it be Tax loss selling since the sector is one of the few that has done poorly this year?

Q: I have been impressed on how this “ growth by acquisition “ stock has held up , especially in comparison to other such stocks ( I own EGLX which am keeping), and based on your report and growth portfolio inclusion, have decided to buy some after my 2022 TFSA contribution. Any company specific reasons why the stock has held up? Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i,
My investments have grown nicely in 2021: thank you!
I’ve categorized the above assets into three buckets:
Technology: nvda,kxs,toi,csu =12.8%

Communication: goog,apps,kind =6.5% (goog is 5%)
Consumer discretionary: appl,shop,lspd =8% (lspd=<1)
Total= 27%
Please comment on outlay and provide ideas for improvement. Am I being too cute with my categorization buckets?
Many thanks for your opinion.

Q: Good Morning 5i,

I’ve been offered a DCPP with my employer and I have to select the funds to allocate contributions to.

Available are the typical Canada, US, EAFE low cost indexes as well as the Mawer Global Equity Fund (with a heavily discount MER). In your opinion would it be best to spread out my contributions to create a passive global index strategy or is it better to go with Mawer Global Equity? What do you do if you were me?

Also, if you were to spread it amongst the geographic indexes, what would the the suggested breakdown between the different countries?

Thanks for your time!

Q: The CFO at AcuityAds just bought 23,000 shares. I know you don't like averaging down but, with $1.50 in cash on the balance sheet, isn't it time to buy this company? What is your long term outlook on AT for patient buy-and-hold investors?

Q: Hi, I have ACN and VRSN on my watchlist and am wondering what your thoughts are on these two tech stocks, which you would prefer and why. There are no previous questions on VRSN but ACN has gotten favourable comments from you in the past.
I have some tech stocks that have gotten pummelled lately (ie. DOCU) and am thinking these might provide some growth over the years without the same volatility as some others.
Thanks for your insights,
Doris

Q: Hi, I have owned Intel for many years but lately it has been a disappointment, I sold half my position last year and purchased AMD which has done well. What's your advice, should I sell INTC and purchase SOXX or NVDA or continue to hold it, looking for the best growth prospects.

Thx
