Q: I have been holding EGLX for quite some time. I view it as a long term hold while it establishes itself in the marketplace. I am concerned about the expenses though, in particular Share Based Compensation. To me, for a growing company this is too high relative to its Gross Profit. What is your opinion on this?
Secondly it has a lot of volatility which makes me think it is being day traded. Any thoughts on this?
Thank you.

Q: Good evening team,
I understand this answer may have been asked but I'm unable to locate your answer. If one was concerned about inflation what would be your sectors of choice to invest in? Additionally, can you kindly mention 5 stocks in both CDN and the US that may potentially help guard against inflation?

Cheers
Seamus

Q: There seem to be a number of CAD Hedged NASDAQ 100 ETF options. Which one(s) would you recommend for a couple of young investors, both of whom will be making regular, small contributions - one to an unregistered account and one to an RRSP? Was thinking of pairing with XEQT as both are looking for 100% equity exposure (in CAD). Your thoughts on this or other suggestions to pair with the NASDAQ 100 that may be more suitable would be appreciated. Thanks.

Q: High inflation numbers have come out--what do you think? Do you believe we are entering a higher inflation world, and if so, what (i) sectors and (ii) specific stocks would you emphasize for that? Thank you!

Q: Good Morning Peter & Team,

I have noticed lots of 5i Q & A re miners, ETFs and other related companies (VB as an example) and investing in Crypto. I have also noticed more and more discussions taking place regarding portfolio managers starting to take more notice of Crypto Currency and, that it could eventually be a part of every Managers Portfolio in the coming years. Even going as far as to say it could act quite well as a hedge similar to how gold performs during a market down turn.

My question... Has 5i ever or, are you presently in the process of discussing Crypto Currencies and/or related companies (such as VB) with the intent of adding it to the 5i Growth Portfolio? Or are you still thinking this direction far to risky? Do you think there is any foundation in people taking about every Portfolio Manager eventually making Bitcoin (or the like) a part of their portfolios?

Thanks for all you do

gm

Q: Could you comment on AND's quarter and how they fared with analysts expectations ? Also your assessment of the conference call and anything mentioned about future growth or obstacles foreseen ? The numbers looked good to me but Mr Market doesn't seem to be excited ....Which makes me wonder if there was something in the outlook in the conference call that made investors yawn ......I took a half position before the quarterly results and am considering filling it out now . Would you endorse this ? Thanks for your terrific service .....

Q: Can you comment on the tax considerations of the ECN special dividend in a non-registered account? I am up almost $2 currently but will receive a $7.50 dividend. From a tax perspective I feel I am better to sell now and pay the capital gains on the $2 instead of taxes on the $7.50 dividend . I can always buy it back later. Assume I am in a medium to high marginal tax bracket.
Thanks
