Q: Good afternoon,
I was up 30% on WELL but I am now down 20%. I know you are positive on the stock over the next few years. I do not need to sell it but I'm thinking of (1) selling it for tax loss purposes and buying it back after 30 days, or (2) buying more now to average down, Alternatively, (3) I could sell the shares for tax loss purposes and buy the new convertible debentures which pay 5.5% and are convertible at a share price of $9.23. Al things being equal which looks like the best approach over the next 3 years? if it is to buy the debentures what is the ticker symbol for them? Thanks.

But at the same time why would i not just invest in an index fund such as XIU which has a very similar 5 yr annualized return of 11.07% or SPY which comes in at 18.93%

Q: I have noticed that trading volumes of most of the stocks, except energy stocks, are down significantly today although the overall market is up quite a bit. This trend has been consistent in the last few days. Is it indicating any ominous event that might happen or is it just a normal event?

Q: Hello, Between BYD and DOO, Knowing that they are both in different industries and are both great business, which is a better business with better growth prospects in earnings and revenue and with a long runway for growth. I also see that DOO is decreasing their share count whereas BYD has increased share count over the years..And which would you buy at the current market price? Thanks.

Regards,

Shyam

Q: Could you explain how this works and how much correlation we should expect between the CDRs and the original stocks? As of this writing, midday, for example, AAPL is up 2.4% but its CDR version is down .2. Amazon is up 2.37% in the US but it's CDR is only up .63. GOOG is up 2.21 but it's down .35 in Canada. And MSFT is up 2.34 in the US but only .19 in Canada. Disney is down 1% but its Canadian CDR is down 3. 84.

Q: If the scary inflation monster is in fact a mirage and we return next year to the old norm of global oversupply, excess savings, and stagnant growth what would be some Canadian and US stocks likely to benefit.
Thanks
