Q: Hi 5i Team - I can't remember the source but have heard a comment stating that Web 3 and AI will bolster each other. First of all, do you know what this might mean and also are there any companies that could benefit from it.
Thanks.

Q: When members ask questions regarding buying a stock, often a distinction is made between starting a position or adding to a position. eg. would add to an existing position but not start a position.
What is the distinction between these two ideas?

Q: Always looking for the best of all worlds - but find myself thinking "safety first" right now given global circumstances - and the US election.

So the above ETFs all yielding over 14% right now - too good to be true or a legitimate and safer way to go given their use of options - and 5i has clearly made us aware of the pros and cons of options (Thank you) .... but how about this combination of ETF's

Q: Do you have any recommendations for companies, U.S. or Canadian, that demonstrate good technologies involved in energy storage and smarter distribution systems. Any market cap is fine but fundamentals should be decent. Thanks.

Q: Let me be the first to ask you about this company.

Main product appears to be a monopoly with no competition. They are releasing an updated version soon, with a good chunk of their installed base nearing EOL and due for replacement.

Founder led. No debt, net cash. High returns on capital, growing nicely. Secular tale winds in healthcare space. Valuation doesn't seem stretched.

Outside of being smaller in size, any red flags for you? On first glance, is it something you'd personally consider investing in?

Thanks.

Q: I own all three of these companies and I am doing quite well with all three. I am up 20% on BIR, 10% on PEY and way up on TOU as I bought it in the $5.00 range back in the depths of the oil and gas collapse. TOU represents 6% of my portfolio while PEY and BIR are about 1% each. I LOVE my dividends…….do I continue to hold all three or consolidate into TOU? After TOU’s takeover of CR, is one or both of BIR and PEY next?

Q: What is your take on ATD's announced "preliminary" offer for 7-11? The market seemed to not react to this. Some time ago they contemplated a large deal to purchase Total. That was not well received and it eventually did not go forward. If the 7-11 goes ahead, what impact will there be on the share price for ATD? Would they have to take on a lot of debt or issue a large amount of shares? Many thanks
