Q: Hello Peter,

In light of the quarterly performance of Meta and Roku, what is your short to medium term outlook for the 3 companies mentioned above? Will they still be candidates for overperforming in a recovery bounce when the market is done with the downward trend.?
Regards
Rajiv

Q: Of the following, are there any you see as particularly vulnerable today? Held in a long-term account but I am considering shifting the risk profile in light of existing market conditions, and potentially closing out 1 or 2 positions:

SHOP, LSPD, TIXT, EGLX, TSU

Q: Hi Team,
According to recent updates from the company, Well Health seems to be firing on all cylinders. I am trying to understand why it's sitting near year lows. It does not seem appropriate to me for investors to be selling it off like a speculative Tech name. Healthcare will always be needed, and Telehealth should keep advancing...and is in the very very early stages. Management has a stellar history, revenues are climbing rapidly with aquisitions; with all this in mind...is it time to buy more of this name? Or am I missing something here? Thanks

Shane.

Q: US Div Stocks vs CAD Div Stocks? I know the Dividend Tax Credit only applies to Canadian Stocks, but these days some good US STocks are paying 9 to 11 %. What is the Dividend Tax Credit worth in terms of %? I guess it is still better to buy Canadian Div Stocks:
The federal dividend tax credit as a percentage of taxable dividends is 15.0198% for eligible dividends and 9.0301% for non-eligible dividends.

Q: I am moving toward retirement and looking for stocks with a Dividend of 4% plus. Could you suggest some Canadian and US companies that you feel are good value in todays market or ones to watch for this fall if things go down- separate lists please. All categories except financials as I'm overweight there. I'm interested in companies that can ride a recession with higher interest rates. Thank you!

Q: Re Gary's question on the 28th re place to park some money. I have a TD Investment Savings Account TDB8150 that has no fees, units are $10. each and the current rate is 2.25 % interest calculated and paid monthly. I opted to reinvvest the monthly interest for more units. Easy access to funds and I also use it for excess cash in my registered accounts. Interest is increased on a reg basis as rates change. I highly recommend it. Hereis a link to the page
