Q: Dear 5i
I was thinking it might be a good idea to invest some cash in the wheat and steel sectors given their expected rise over the next year or so .
Perhaps RS for steel and maybe BG for wheat . Would you agree with these two selections or would you recommend something else ?
Thanks
Bill C

Q: Would you know if anything negative was said during the conference call to account for the stocks poor performance after a great report?
Thanks

Q: Further to my March 18 question: redeploying my 100% cash position. Using the BE portfolio as an example and assuming 6 equal monthly investments. Would you buy partials across the board, or go with full positions in 3-4 companies each month. If the latter, which order would you suggest.
Thanks Peter.
Thanks Peter.

Q: I’ve landed on 200k and looking to invest. Would appreciate your advice how to disperse my money. 5-7 year time frame, and money will be mostly invested in a tfsa.
What are your top 10-15 growth stocks (Cnd and/or US) to begin a portfolio. Top 2 ETF’s.
Also, do you believe 5 years is long enough for a full recovery in the market ?
Thanks for everything!
Cheers

Q: Hi 5i,
My goal is to increase the income from my portfolio. Can I please ask for your top 5 dividend and dividend growth stocks today?
I was looking at your blog post highlighting Cdn companies paying USD$ dividends and am very interested. Would any of these names be on your list?
Thanks in advance and please deduct multiple questions as needed.

Q: I see you like Trisura for 2022. Answering a question on March 17 you acturally included it as one of your top picks for this year. My question is why do you have such confidence in the future of this company. Also, do you see it doing well this year or is it the kind of company that one has to buy and hold for 5 years to see stong advances in its price appreciation. Thanks as always for your opinion.
Q: Hello Peter and team,
Would you consider Galaxy Digital in the speculative category? The stock has been surging lately but takes a hit at times; however, their numbers look reasonable. Any idea why Trisura is starting to surge? Is it going along with other insurance companies given rise in rates.

Q: Hello Peter, I am tuning in my stocks scanner and need some inputs from your team on difference ratios / parameters i should be using. example sales ratio what would be a good low / high limit going into a high interest rate environment. Could you fill in with more more ratio like PE, debt to equity, debt to cash flow,.. with each low and high limits value I can use when scanning for stock with North American markets.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: I'm a roughly 50/50 income/growth investor with the income being an important part of our retirement income.
Given that REITs are generally high debt equities I'm questioning how they'll fare given the current environment of rising interest rates and and increasing costs. Will they be able to offset those increased costs by raising rents?
I'd first like you to comment on my assumptions as to what is going on. Agree or disagree.
Secondly I'd like you to comment on the specific REITs that I've mentioned. I'm sure they're all different based debt maturities and rental contracts. The average length of their rental contracts may work against them if it's longer while the average maturity of their debt may work for them if it's longer. Cost increases are now.
