Q: while the price differs between these two offerings the difference does not represent the difference between US and CDN exchange rates and the trading volumes offer more flexibility for the TO based version. What is the reason, what is the basis for the two versions, and did you intend to prefer the .U edition.

Q: A few years ago I read Benjamin Graham's The Intelligent Investor. To make money in the stock market, one simple axiom he proposed was to buy a dollar's worth of a company for less than a dollar. Sangoma now has a P/B ratio of .43 so it would appear to be a perfect candidate to put Graham's axiom to work given a long enough time horizon. Notwithstanding the current poor market conditions for small-cap tech stocks, would you agree that today an investor can buy a dollar's worth of Sangoma for 43 cents?

Thank you as always for your answer.

Q: I would appreciate your comments about the oft used term “momentum”. Once the markets do bottom, all of us, like it or not, will or should be momentum traders.

Q: I have held TVE since about the beginning of the year, and its perfomance over that time has lagged many other competitors in its space. TVE is about a 2% position, and my total energy exposure is somewhere around 12% at this point. I read an earlier comment on this forum that TVE is slated to double its revenues in the upcoming year, which would make a strong case for hanging onto shares of this company.

Do you feel that remaining patient with TVE is the prudent measure, or is there another name with analogous characteristics within the energy producer space which would potentially be a more suitable vehicle in which to invest?

Q: I know you rate this stock as an A and according to your report, think quite highly of it.

Well I've held this stock for 4 years and it is at the same level today as it was Jan 2019. It's down approx 40% since Jan 22.

Basically dead money. Other than the 2% dividend, I could have done as well in a 5 year GIC.

Is it time to throw in the towel. I believe I am a patient investor, but like you patience does run out.

If your answer is yes what is your top TSX listed NON TECH suggestion to replace it.

If your answer is no, why?

Thanks

Sheldon

Q: These companies all seem to be at a premium to P/B ratios and have similar dividend yields and WSP is likely the company that is not a direct comparison within the group but all would be industrial based in my mind. Would you please rank your order of preference of the three for a three to five year timeframe. Thank you!

Q: My sister has an RDSP with BMO. She has 75,000.00 in each the above funds. The lifestage money will mature in June and automatically go into a money market fund. The money will not be needed for years. She also has a trust fund. Do you have any suggestions for the 75k? Also, I believe the Cad and Usd equity funds are mutual funds. Should I move them to a lower cost ETF?
