Q: Good day 5i Team,

I have some cash sitting around and would like to build a portfolio.
There are few names that I selected, the goal is to have a stability, potential growth, dividends and maybe some covered options selling opportunities. I will hold these in my TFSA.
What do you think of the names? What would you add? What would you recommend.

Thank you as always

Q: I notice in your answer to Jacques ISD about what "buy and forget" stocks you would suggest in the US and Canada, conspicuously SHOP is missing from that list.

I detect from the tone on many of your answers you are becoming less and less positive on this name.

So, why was it not on your list to him, and am I right with my observation and if so, why?

Thanks

Sheldon

Q: Given the recent decline in these stocks, would you add more money into them? Could you rate them in terms of which ones you would add to (first to last) and their valuations (best valuation to worst valuation)?
thanks

Q: Hello, for a 5-year holding period and $400k, in terms of currency costs, is it better to buy CDRs and let the CIBC handle currency hedging as a % or buy US$ and actual US stocks from a discount broker (without accounting for currency fluctuation after 5 years)? Would a breakeven holding period have to be longer than 5 years? Thanks.

Q: Hi, I presently hold the above funds in a corporate account.
Is the tax treatment of these funds in a corporate account the same as a non registered acct?
In what type of acct is it best to hold them?
