Q: Do you see problems with a long term holding of this company for the dividend and small growth? Do they hold good real-estate which could be profitable in the future. Thanks James Any further comments will be appreciated !!
Q: These two stocks are down materially, do pay attractive dividends and are European auto makers in weak Euro currency environment. Would these stocks are buys or there is still risk of further downside.?
Q: Can I please have your opinion on Bausch and Lomb (BLCO). The company was recently created from its heavily indebted parent company Bausch Health. To what extent is it insulated from the parent's issues and do you recommend it for growth at a reasonable price.
Q: Why would CNQ be down about $1.00 as of now when it just declared a special $1.50 dividend and higher capital spending (meaning higher production to come)? This market is not logical at all. What's your take?
Q: Novo Nordisk (NVO) upgraded its financial outlook during its recent earnings call, but shares tumbled as a result of delays in production of its anti-obesity drug. What are your thoughts on NVO and would now be a good entry point?
Q: Saw your response to the question about Suncor's results, where you said everything looked fine. Yet today, a day many of the big oil and gas companies appear to be up, Suncor continues to go down after an 8-9% drop the previous two trading days. After last night's quarterly report I would have expected some recovery in the share price. Is there anything then that would halt the apparent downward spiral in the share price? Or should I take my lumps and sell the shares.
Q: Not a question, I just wanted to say that I was reviewed by the CRA this year for carrying charges, for which my 5i membership makes up a part. I sent in the receipt along with my other docs, and, good news, it was accepted.
Q: NIO reported for July 2022 a 26.7% increase of electric vehicle deliveries over July 2021, plus a 22% cumulative increase for 2022 over 2021.
For China, NIO has installed 1,047 power swap stations as of end July 2022.
I think it has to be able to complete SEC filing which seems to mean an independent auditor.
The stock price has dropped by 2/3rds from a high of USD 66.
If the SEC issue is resolved, would you expect the stock to jump significantly?
What other concerns hold back the stock to grow?
Would you hang on to this stock until the SEC issue is clarified, or take the loss now and move on ? I don't mind waiting it out if there is reasonable hope for the stock to bounce.
Q: If I am not mistaken, I thought I saw a recent answer where you said we were late in the oil and gas cycle. In the past, I thought you answered questions as being mid-cycle. If this was a baseball game, what inning do you think are we in now?
Thanks
Q: I own shares in this company and obviously holders were not enthused with the recent earnings. I am thinking of lightening up on my holdings and adding some Accenture. Your thought on this would be much appreciated.
