Q: Hi,
I just noticed that Amaya had sold Cryptologic and Chartwell
prior to selling Cadillac Jack and I am beginning to wonder
if AMAYA may be getting a little bit “ hollow” and may not have much
powder left (other than goodwill and cash) if gambling
restrictions are relaxed in the US.
Do you have any insight as to what strategic assets AMAYA
may still hold to capitilize further should gambling restrictions be relaxed
(if this a duplicate question please ignore one or the other. I felt that
My first attempt may not have been accepted )

Thanks

Q: Is there some unusual trading/manipulation taking place with Amaya's stock? AYA on the TSX was set to close at $31.00 but then there was a sudden jump to $29.70 (ending 1.69% down for the day).

On the other hand, Amaya's stock trading on the US OTC markets (AMYGF) ended the day 4.02% up. That's quite a large gap between the two markets.

Anything to be concerned about?

Q: I have inherited a small amount of money which I plan to use to diversify my stock portfolio. I currently have some of the same or similar stock as shown in your Model portfolio. For example I have TRP instead of ENB, MRE instead of MG, etc. My existing portfolio is overweighted in oil and oil services stocks and banks, eg Bank of Nova Scotia so I believe some diversification is probably good. With this as a basis, do you believe that all the companies shown in your model portfolio will still continue to show good growth over the next few years. I usually keep most shares indefinitely and seldom less than 3-5 years. So assuming you believe all of the companies will continue to show good growth, I will probably purchase some Amaya (AYA), CCL Industries (CCL.B), Cineplex (CGX), Constellation Software (CSU), Descartes Systems (DSG), Enghouse Systems (ESL), First Service Corp (FSV), MacDonald Dettwiler (MDA), Stantec (STN), Stella-Jones (SJ), and Sylogist (SYZ). All of these are in your model portfolio. Perhaps there are alternates that may be better than those above shown in your Model portfolio??? Thank you very much for your thoughts.

Q: Hi Team
Many thanks for your quick response re AYA news today re: the IPO filling for its wholly owned subsidiary - Innova. I should have been more clear that it was actually a two-part question.
The last part of the news indicated that in addition to their "Innova" subsidiary IPO filing, Amaya itself would also be doing a secondary offering.
Again, I would appreciate your expert comments on this news as well.

Q: Hi Team,
News re: Amaya - Innova Gaming Group Inc. ("Innova"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amaya, has filed and obtained a receipt for a preliminary prospectus in respect of Innova's proposed initial public offering of common shares... The Offering contemplates a treasury offering of common shares by Innova and a secondary offering of common shares by Amaya, which will receive the net proceeds for the common shares sold by it under the Offering.
How do you perceive this news?

Q: Hi Peter and Staff:

You have probably already aware of Amaya response below. You may or may not wish to publish however I was wondering what would be a good entry point here, if I was to leverage down

"Amaya comments on media report regarding Italian operation (cnw)
MONTREAL, March 11, 2015 /CNW/ - Amaya Inc. ("Amaya" or the "Corporation") (TSX: AYA) today provided clarification to a media report regarding a tax dispute involving the Italian operations of PokerStars.
The tax dispute relates to operations of PokerStars dating from before the acquisition of the company by Amaya in August, 2014. The merger agreement related to that transaction provides remedies to address certain income tax and other liabilities that might occur post-closing but stemming from operations prior to the date of acquisition, including monies held in escrow as initial sources for indemnification. The current tax dispute is something Amaya was aware of prior to the transaction. Amaya does not anticipate that these tax issues would apply to future fiscal periods. The company's operations continue as usual on www.pokerstars.it and it remains focused on delivering the most popular online"

Thanks again for your great advice.

Q: Hello great team. Amaya is in a strong bullish trend in all time frames according to BMO. I am holding 6.9% within my Portfolios along with most of your other PF choices (both PFs). My question is; should I ride this a bit longer? AYA was a bit stuck for a while but is rising nicely again as I am sure you know. Any news? Thank you for all you do. I am doing well with your Q and A's and best of all "makin moola"!
